Temples · Follow up systems

Answer the mantapa enquiry that arrived on Saturday night.

A follow-up routine for a temple decides what happens to the enquiry nobody replied to: the family asking whether the mantapa is free on a muhurtham date, the sponsor who pledged and never sent the amount, the seva booking whose payment did not go through. GullySales sets who replies, and when.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What follow up systems means

A follow-up system is the set routine for calling, messaging or emailing an enquiry more than once, since most buyers do not decide on the first conversation. GullySales sets the number and timing of follow-ups so an undecided buyer keeps hearing from you until they decide either way.

For temples

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A muhurtham date will not wait for the office to open”

A family fixing a wedding is asking three venues at once. The temple that replies while the date is still free takes the booking, and the trust never learns what the silence cost.

  • “A pledge made at a festival needs a reminder, not a chase”

Somebody who announced a sponsorship during an utsavam meant it. A short, respectful message with the purpose and the account details is usually the only thing that was missing.

  • “A failed payment is a devotee who tried”

A seva booking that ended in a failed transaction is not a lost devotee. Somebody has to notice and write back, or the family concludes the temple did not want the offering.

What we do

What we deliver for temples.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A named person reading the enquiry inbox

One person at the office who goes through enquiries at a fixed hour, with an automatic message telling a devotee when the office is open.

Result: An enquiry is acknowledged even when it arrives at night.

  2. A routine for hall and accommodation enquiries

A fixed way of checking the date, replying with availability and holding it while the family decides.

Result: A family fixing a muhurtham hears back while the date is open.

  3. A follow-up on pledges made at an event

A respectful message carrying the purpose, the amount pledged and how to send it, recorded against the family who pledged.

Result: A pledge becomes a receipt rather than a memory.

  4. A check on incomplete bookings and payments

A daily look at seva bookings where the payment did not go through, and a short message offering to help complete it.

Result: A devotee who tried to give is helped instead of ignored.

  5. A written point at which the office stops

How many reminders a pledge or an enquiry receives, and the wording of the last one, agreed by the committee.

Result: Nobody at the temple is left wondering whether to write again.

  6. A confirmation before the seva date

A message to the family ahead of the day, with the time to arrive, the gotra recorded and what they should bring.

Result: Families arrive prepared and the counter queue moves.

How the result is measured

  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Average number of follow-ups before close
  • Enquiries closed after repeat follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these temples.

  • Ancient and heritage temples with high pilgrim footfall
  • Neighbourhood and community temples
  • Temple trusts managing more than one shrine
  • Shrines with a strong NRI devotee base overseas
  • A temple known for one festival or utsavam
  • Temples running annadanam and community welfare programmes

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for temples

  1. 1

    Audit the devotee journey

We check what a devotee sees when they search for the temple and the town, how sevas are booked today, and how offerings from outside the town are received.

  2. 2

Build the site and the calendar

Timings, the deity's history, the festival calendar for the year and a page for each major seva, kept current rather than left from the last update.

  3. 3

Set up online booking and donation

A seva booking and donation flow that works on a phone, with an automatic receipt, so a family living away can offer from anywhere.

  4. 4

    Reach devotees before the festival

WhatsApp and social reminders sent ahead of the brahmotsavam or a monthly special pooja, timed to when devotees actually plan their visit.

  5. 5

    Record every offering

A simple record of who booked what seva and when, so a returning donor is recognised and thanked rather than treated as a stranger each visit.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We are a small trust with one person in the office. Is this realistic?
Yes, because it is one task at a fixed hour rather than a full-time job. A short list of unanswered enquiries and incomplete payments, worked through once a day, covers most of it.
Is it appropriate to remind somebody about a pledge?
A short, respectful message with the purpose and the details is a service to a donor who simply forgot. Send it once, keep the wording plain, and record it so nobody sends it twice.
Can a temple trust really run online bookings?
Yes, if one person at the temple office checks the bookings each morning. The priests get a printed list of the day's sevas and gotras, so nothing changes at the sanctum. We set up the page and train whoever runs the office.
Is it appropriate to market a temple?
Yes, if it only presents what already exists. We publish the timings, sevas and festival dates in a form devotees can find and book. The rituals, the priests and the trust's decisions stay exactly as they are.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
