Travel agencies and tour operators · Social media

Post your own departures, not stock pictures of Switzerland.

Social media for a travel agency is the proof that real families travelled with you and came back pleased. GullySales plans what gets shot on each departure, turns it into the season's posts, and stops the enquiries arriving in the messages from being lost.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For travel agencies and tour operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A stock Bali sunset brings nothing

Every agency posts the same downloaded view. A photograph of twenty-two people from your own city on that beach brings messages.

  • The saving happens months before the booking

Travellers save reels of a destination long before any dates exist, so the caption has to say which trip and from where.

  • Instagram messages are enquiries

They arrive at night, in half sentences, and go unanswered because nobody treats that inbox as a source of bookings.

What we do

What we deliver for travel agencies and tour operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A shot plan the tour manager can follow

A short list of what to capture on each departure, including the group photograph, the hotel, a meal and one moment people talk about afterwards.

Result: Every trip comes back with something to post.

  2. Traveller permission asked on the trip itself

Consent for photographs and reviews taken on the last day with a note of who agreed, so nothing gets posted that a family did not expect.

Result: You use the pictures without an awkward message later.

  3. Captions that name the trip and the departure city

Each post saying which package it is, which month it ran and where the group left from, with the WhatsApp number in the profile.

Result: A reel saved in December still turns into an enquiry in March.

  4. Instagram and Facebook given different jobs

Reels and stories for the younger traveller planning a honeymoon, Facebook for the senior citizen groups and yatra departures where that audience still sits.

Result: Each platform carries the trips its readers book.

  5. The messages inbox treated as an enquiry queue

Instagram and Facebook messages checked twice a day by a named person and logged alongside the phone and website enquiries.

Result: A question asked at night has an answer by morning.

  6. A backlog banked for the off-season

Posts prepared from the last season's material before the quiet months begin, so the feed does not go dead through July.

Result: The account keeps working when nobody is travelling.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these travel agencies and tour operators.

  • Retail travel agencies selling domestic packages
  • Tour operators running their own group departures
  • International holiday and honeymoon specialists
  • Pilgrimage and yatra tour organisers
  • Air, rail and bus ticketing agents
  • Corporate travel and MICE agencies
  • Visa and travel documentation services
  • School and college educational tour operators
  • Local guides and sightseeing operators

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for travel agencies and tour operators

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where enquiries come from, how fast you reply, how quotes are written and followed up, and how many travellers return.

  2. 2

    Fix the quote and follow-up

A clear itinerary format and a WhatsApp routine, so each quote gets an answer, yes or no.

  3. 3

    Show real trips

Pages for your signature packages and a routine for collecting traveller photographs and reviews.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar

Seasonal campaigns planned months ahead, plus corporate, school and pilgrimage outreach for the quieter periods.

  5. 5

    Bring travellers back

A past traveller calendar and referral ask, so the family you took to Kerala asks you about Kashmir.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our reels get views and no messages. Why?
Because they are downloaded destination clips that could belong to any agency in India. A viewer writes to you when she sees a group like her own family, from her own city, on a trip she could book.
Should we pay travel influencers?
Only ones whose followers live in your departure city and could realistically join a group. A creator with a national following brings comments from places you do not operate from.
How do we stop people using our itinerary to book on their own?
Send a clear summary first and the detailed hotel-by-hotel plan once the traveller has confirmed interest or paid a small booking amount. Follow up within a day of sending any quote, because the traveller who hears back quickly rarely rebuilds the trip alone.
Should we list our packages on large travel portals?
It can help a tour operator fill group departures, but the portal owns the customer relationship and takes a share. We usually build direct enquiries and repeat business first, then decide on portals for specific departures.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
