Tree service companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the crew a homeowner finds while the limb is still on the lawn.

SEO for a tree service decides who appears when a homeowner searches for removal, pruning or a storm clean-up in their own town. GullySales builds a page for each service in each town you cover, and answers the cost question the search is really asking.

A street junction fingerpost: several lettered direction arms on one post, the top arm freshly painted and pointing down your street while the others have weathered, with the paint tin and brush still at its foot

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For tree service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Tree removal cost is the search, and most sites duck it

The page that explains what height, lean and distance from the house do to a price gets the call from somebody who was only shopping.

  • A storm page cannot be built after the storm

Nothing published the morning after a line of storms will rank that week. The page has to exist and be aged before the season starts.

  • Species searches bring the work in the flat months

A homeowner who has read that their ash is dying types the species rather than the service, and that search runs all through the weeks nobody calls.

What we do

What we deliver for tree service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each service in each town you cover

Removal, trimming, stump grinding, storm response and plant health care written separately for every town in your radius, instead of one services page listing all of it.

Result: A search in the next town stops sending work to a competitor.

  2. A cost page that names what moves the price

Height, lean, how close the tree sits to the house, crane access and disposal explained plainly, with a range rather than a figure you cannot hold to.

Result: Price shoppers arrive already knowing why your bid is not the cheapest.

  3. Storm and emergency pages written ahead of the season

Pages for a tree on the house, a hanging limb and a blocked drive, published months before the weather that needs them rather than during it.

Result: You rank in the week the phone should be ringing.

  4. Species and pest pages for the trees in your region

Pages for the ash, oak and pine problems homeowners near you look up by name, written to lead into a removal or a health check.

Result: Deadwood work turns up between storms.

  5. A technical pass on a site full of job photographs

Image sizes, load speed over a phone signal, broken links and the pages search engines were never able to reach, all checked and corrected.

Result: The crane photographs stop making your best page too slow to rank.

  6. Monthly report of calls traced to search

Calls and form enquiries traced to each service page and each town page, read every month against the baseline recorded before the work began.

Result: You can see which town earns another page and which does not.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for tree service companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we go through last season's estimates. How many were written down, how many were chased, and what the win rate looked like against the cheapest bid?

  2. 2

    Put the credentials in front

Insurance certificates, arborist qualifications and photographs of real removals placed where a homeowner sees them before they think to ask.

  3. 3

    Write and chase the estimate

A same-day written estimate with photographs, and a follow-up routine that runs past the week the tree was looked at.

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar

Local search, storm pages, neighbourhood groups and advertising aimed at the homeowner in the months between storms.

  5. 5

    Build the contract work

Boards, property managers, builders and solar installers approached on a calendar, so the crews have work when the weather is dull.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long before SEO brings us jobs?
Months for the competitive removal searches, and sooner for the small towns in your radius nobody has written a page for. Your map listing moves faster than the site does. Build the storm pages in the off season so they are ready when the weather turns.
Should we write about tree care when we mostly do removals?
Yes, because the homeowner asking whether the oak can be saved is the same person who books a removal when the answer is no. A page that says a tree can be pruned instead of felled also gets passed around a street. Nothing is lost by being straight about it.
How do we stop losing bids to uninsured crews?
Put the proof in front of the homeowner before the price. A certificate of insurance attached to the estimate, and a line about what happens if a limb goes through a roof, does more than arguing about the other quote. Some homeowners will still take the cheap bid, and those were never your customers.
Storm weeks bring more work than we can do. Should we still advertise?
Yes, but not for removal. Advertising in a storm week is better spent on the work that gets scheduled later: pruning, plant health care and inspections. The emergency calls arrive anyway, and a crew already booked solid does not need more of them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
