Water treatment solutions providers · Customer retention

The plant is only your customer while the service contract is running.

Retention for a water treatment company is the maintenance contract renewed and the consumable reordered from you rather than from a local technician. Both are decided by how the last breakdown call went. GullySales works the renewal dates, the consumable schedule and the service record behind them.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What customer retention means

Customer retention is keeping an existing customer buying again rather than losing them to a competitor after the first purchase, usually cheaper than winning a new customer. GullySales sets a routine of check-ins and renewal reminders aimed at customers before they show signs of leaving.

For water treatment solutions providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The contract renews on the last breakdown call”

A facility manager renews with whoever answered when the softener stopped on a Sunday morning. Everything else in the relationship, the pricing, the site visits, the relationship with the purchase head, sits behind that one call.

  • “A consumable due date is a retention event”

Membranes, resin and salt come due whether you ring or not. If you do not, a local technician fits a cheaper membrane, and the plant stops being yours while your name is still on the panel.

  • “A loyalty scheme is not what this trade needs”

Nobody collects points on an effluent plant. What holds an industrial account is a visit before the monsoon, a written record of what was changed, and an engineer whose number the facility manager has saved in his phone.

What we do

What we deliver for water treatment solutions providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Renewal dates worked as a live list

Every contract due date pulled out ahead of expiry, with the service history for that site attached to the conversation.

Result: The renewal is discussed while the plant is still working.

  2. A consumable calendar per installed plant

Membrane, resin, cartridge and salt schedules worked out from the water quality and usage at that site, not from a generic interval.

Result: You reach the customer before the water changes.

  3. A service report left behind after every visit

What was checked, what was replaced and what will need attention, written on site and handed over.

Result: The customer can see what the contract bought.

  4. A pre-monsoon or pre-summer condition visit

A planned visit before the season that usually causes trouble at that kind of site, arranged rather than waited for.

Result: You turn up before the breakdown call does.

  5. Escalation when a breakdown call is not closed

An unresolved complaint routed to a manager automatically, before the facility manager starts ringing other vendors.

Result: One missed call does not cost a contract.

  6. Contract and consumable revenue reported by site

Renewals, spares and consumable sales traced per installation and measured against the baseline recorded before work began.

Result: You can see which installations are still earning.

How the result is measured

  • Retention rate
  • Repeat purchase rate
  • Customers won back

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for water treatment solutions providers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how clearly your site explains common water problems, how fast site surveys get scheduled, and where your enquiries currently come from.

  2. 2

Build trust with the right content

Pages that explain water problems in plain terms, and case studies from real installations a buyer can actually verify.

  3. 3

    Speed up survey and quote

A routine for scheduling a site visit within days of an enquiry, so a slow process never quietly loses a deal.

  4. 4

    Bring buyers in

Local search, content for specific problems and buyer types, and outreach to builders and facility managers.

  5. 5

    Keep the maintenance contract

Renewal reminders set well ahead of expiry, and a fast response routine for service calls that protects recurring revenue.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we get contracts renewed before they lapse?
By contacting the customer while the plant is running well and bringing the record of what you did under the last contract. A facility manager who has seen your engineer without having to shout for him renews. One who has seen nobody wonders what he paid for and takes a quote from the technician down the road.
Is it worth discounting a renewal to keep an account?
Rarely, and it usually tells you the wrong thing was broken. A customer who asks for a discount at renewal is often saying the service was thin. Fix the response and show the record before you touch the price, because a discounted contract with the same service level comes back next year as a lost account.
How do we compete against unbranded local installers on price?
Show the running cost over five years, not just the plant price. Membrane life, salt use, power and reject water add up, and a facility manager can compare those. A cheaper plant with no service record loses once the committee sees the whole picture.
Should we publish the water test reports from our installations?
Yes, with the customer's permission. A before-and-after report showing TDS and hardness against the IS 10500 drinking water limits is the proof a committee trusts. We remove the address unless the customer agrees to be named.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
