Ayurveda and alternative wellness centres · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the therapy and the physician, not for a cure you cannot claim.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for an Ayurveda centre is awkward, because people search by their condition while the law limits what you may claim about treating one. GullySales builds pages around the therapies, the physician and what a programme involves, so the centre is found for Panchakarma or Abhyanga without a claim it should not be making.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of ayurveda and alternative wellness centres at work in India

Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For ayurveda and alternative wellness centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search is a condition, the page cannot promise one”

People type the name of their complaint next to the word Ayurveda. A page that ranks honestly explains what the therapy involves and who it is traditionally used for, and leaves the clinical judgement to the consultation.

  • “Therapy names are the searchable words you own”

Panchakarma, Abhyanga, Shirodhara and Kizhi are searched by name. A page for each, describing the procedure and the number of sittings, is both truthful and rankable.

  • “A retreat competes nationally, a clinic competes by road”

Someone choosing a fortnight in Kerala compares centres across three states. Someone with a stiff shoulder searches their own locality. Those need two different sets of pages on one website.

What we do

What we deliver for ayurveda and alternative wellness centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each therapy you actually offer

Panchakarma, Abhyanga, Shirodhara and the rest, each setting out the procedure, the sittings involved, the preparation asked of the guest and who it may not suit.

Result: Every therapy can be found by its own name.

  2. Physician pages carrying qualification and registration

A page per doctor with the BAMS or MD, the registration number, the years in practice and the consultations they take.

Result: A visitor sees a qualified doctor behind the therapy.

  3. A claims pass over every page before it goes live

A read-through for cure, permanent relief and guaranteed result wording, with replacement lines your physician approves and your adviser can check.

Result: Nothing goes up that your council could object to.

  4. Separate pages for the clinic and the residential stay

Locality-led pages for consultation and day therapy, and programme pages for the stay, because the two are searched from entirely different places.

Result: A local patient and a travelling guest each land on the right page.

  5. Structured data for the clinic, doctors and programmes

Markup so search engines read the physician, the address, the hours and the programme lengths instead of guessing from the paragraphs.

Result: Search results describe the centre correctly.

  6. Search and enquiry report by page

Position and enquiries per therapy and programme page, set against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You can see which therapy is bringing people in.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your guests type

What a guest types before choosing a centre, and the page that answers it.

Panchakarma treatment centre near me
A therapy page. Describe the stages as your physician practises them, whether the programme is residential or by day, who prescribes it after consultation, and what the guest should prepare. No cure claims.
Karkidakam chikitsa packages in Kerala
A seasonal programme page. Say when the programme runs, what the stay includes, who the physician is and what the guest should discuss before booking. Keep the dates current each year.
Ayurvedic doctor for back pain
A consultation page, not a promise. Name the physician, the qualification and registration, and how a consultation proceeds. Check your state's AYUSH advertising rules before mentioning any condition.
Abhyanga massage near me
A therapy page. State the session length, the oils used, who performs it, and who should speak to the physician before booking. Show the room and the therapist's training.
Ayurveda retreat for stress and sleep
A retreat page. Describe the days: consultation, therapies, diet, rest. Show rooms, food and the physician, and state clearly that the programme supports wellbeing without claiming to treat a disease.
BAMS doctor near me
A physician page. Give the name, degrees, council registration, languages and years of practice, with a photograph. Searchers using a degree are trying to verify you.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can a page mention the condition someone is searching for?
It can describe what a therapy involves and who it has traditionally been used for, without promising a cure or naming a disease the advertising law puts off limits. Where that line sits keeps moving, and the registration at risk is your physician's. Have the final wording cleared by your own AYUSH adviser or council.
Why do aggregator sites sit above us for our own therapy?
They carry hundreds of pages and years of links. Your ground is the therapy page with your physician's name, your therapy room, your schedule and your town on it. A visitor who arrives there is closer to booking a consultation than anyone reading a listicle.
Should the clinic and the retreat share one website?
Keep them on one site but give each its own section, since the guest searching for a day clinic and the one planning a stay are different people. Separate pages for therapies, physicians and stay details keep each search answered.
Is it safe to write articles about herbs and what they treat?
Be careful. Describing what an herb treats can read as a treatment claim, and the rules on this are strict. Write about how a programme runs and what a guest experiences, and check with your own regulator before publishing health claims.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
