Boxing academies · Buyer persona

Write down who actually decides: the teenager who wants it and the parent who pays.

A buyer persona for a boxing academy describes the different people involved in joining, chiefly the young boxer, the parent, and sometimes a school coach or a sponsor. GullySales helps you describe each from your own trial records and conversations.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For boxing academies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The teenager sets the wish”

The young boxer decides they want to compete after a bout, a film or a local winner. Their question is whether this coach can take them as far as the title they have seen.

  • “The parent controls safety and money”

The guardian weighs injury, school marks, travel and fees. They decide at home, sometimes with another relative, and the academy hears the result only as a yes or silence.

  • “The parent of a girl asks a different set of questions”

Who is in the room, who is the coach, is there a separate batch, and who supervises changing and travel. The persona for a girls' batch cannot copy the one for boys.

  • “A school coach or sports teacher can open the door”

A teacher who spots talent gets the first word with the family. They need to know what the academy offers and how to hand a student over.

What we do

What we deliver for boxing academies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets for each decider

One page each for the young boxer, the parent, the parent of a girl and the referring teacher, in their own questions.

Result: Staff can say who they are speaking to and what that person needs.

  2. Question bank from real trials

A list of the actual questions families asked during trial days, grouped by person.

Result: Replies and pages are written from questions that were really asked.

  3. Objection and answer notes

Honest responses to worries on safety, studies and commitment, reviewed by the coach.

Result: The coach and desk give the same account of each worry.

  4. Decision path map

A simple drawing of who sees what, from first video to the trial to the fee conversation.

Result: Gaps in the journey are visible and have an owner.

  5. Use guide for the team

How to use each persona in messages, pages and the trial talk.

Result: Every outgoing message names the person it is written for.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these boxing academies.

  • Competitive amateur boxing academies
  • State association-affiliated clubs
  • Academies running school-age development programmes
  • Boxing academies inside sports complexes and stadiums
  • Academies with separate batches for girls and women

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How many personas do we need?
Only as many as you meet in the trial hall. For a typical academy that is the boxer, the parent and the referrer. Add the parent of a girl if you run a separate batch.
Where does the information come from?
From your trial notes, your coach's memory and the messages families send. We do not invent audience data. Where records are thin, we start a note-taking habit first.
Does a persona replace talking to families?
No. It organises what you have already heard. Keep asking families why they joined or left, and revise the sheet when the answers change.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
