Piercing studios · Local SEO

Be the studio in the map result when someone nearby types 'ear piercing near me'.

Local SEO for a piercing studio is the contest for the few map results shown to a person standing near your shop, decided by your listing, your photographs and your distance. GullySales works on the profile, the catchment and the way customers describe you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For piercing studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search happens in the mall, on the way”

A teenager outside a shopping centre types 'nose piercing near me' and taps the first listing that looks clean. The listing is judged in seconds, so the first photograph and the opening hours carry the persuading.

  • “Photographs answer the hygiene question before anyone asks”

A listing of stock images says nothing. Photographs of the sealed needle pouch, the autoclave, the piercing chair and the jewellery tray show a stranger the room they are about to sit in.

  • “A listing that says 'tattoo shop' loses piercing searches”

The business type chosen on the profile shapes which searches it appears for. A piercing studio listed under tattoos, or a jeweller listed under retail, misses people who typed the exact service.

  • “Kiosk and studio listings fight each other”

A mall kiosk and a main studio under similar names split reviews and photographs between two listings. Each needs its own profile with its own address, hours and services, or neither wins the map result.

What we do

What we deliver for piercing studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing that names piercing first

The business type, description and services set so a search for piercing finds you, not a tattoo shop.

Result: The listing describes the service people type.

  2. Photographs of the room and the process

The sealed needle, the sterilising area, the chair and the jewellery, shot on a phone in your own studio.

Result: A stranger sees the real room before arriving.

  3. Hours set for evenings, festivals and holidays

Opening hours, festival hours and late slots entered correctly so the listing shows open when searches peak.

Result: The listing is not marked closed on a busy evening.

  4. A reply to every review

Written, polite answers to reviews, including one on cleanliness, so a hesitant reader sees the studio respond.

Result: Each review has an answer from the studio.

  5. One profile per outlet

Separate profiles for each branch or kiosk with their own address, photographs and booking route.

Result: Two outlets stop competing for the same result.

  6. Calls and direction taps read from the listing

The listing's own counts of calls, direction requests and website taps, noted before the work and after.

Result: You can see whether the listing sends people through the door.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these piercing studios.

  • Ear piercing studios for adults and teenagers
  • Kids' ear piercing studios and baby-friendly rooms
  • Cartilage and helix piercing specialists
  • Nose piercing studios for nostril and septum work
  • Navel and body piercing studios
  • Piercing counters inside tattoo studios
  • Mall kiosks and studios in jewellery stores
  • Body jewellery boutiques that pierce on site

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask customers for Google reviews?
Yes, politely and once, after the piercing has settled. Do not offer a discount or a gift in return for a review, and check the platform's current rules before you design any request.
We moved shops. What happens to the old listing?
Edit the address on the existing profile instead of opening a new one, so the photographs and reviews follow. Then update the name, phone and address everywhere else, so every listing says the same thing.
Should the listing show the piercer's name?
Name the piercer in the description and the photographs if the piercer agrees. Adults choosing a cartilage piercing look for a person, and a named piercer gives them someone to ask for.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
