Yoga and pilates studios · Sales management
See which trials converted and which members are quietly slipping away.
Sales management for a yoga or pilates studio means tracking every trial from booking to conversion. GullySales adds attendance patterns to the same record, flagging a member at risk of lapsing.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales management means
Sales management is the ongoing work of reviewing a sales team's pipeline, calls and targets, and stepping in on deals that are stuck. GullySales sets the review rhythm and the reports a sales manager needs to run this without relying on gut feel.

For yoga and pilates studios
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Trial conversion reveals staff and process quality”
Tracking how many trials become memberships shows whether the post-class conversation is actually working.
“Attendance tracking catches lapses before renewal”
A member whose visits are dropping is visible in the data well before a renewal date arrives.
“Referral-sourced memberships need their own record”
Without tracking, a studio cannot tell how much new business already comes from existing members.
What we do
What we deliver for yoga and pilates studios.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Trial-to-membership tracking sheet
A record following every trial booking through to its outcome, conversion or drop-off.
Result: You can see whether the post-trial conversation is actually working.
Attendance-based risk flagging
A system marking a member as at risk once their class visits noticeably slow down.
Result: A lapsing member becomes visible before the renewal date, not after.
Referral source tracking
A record noting which new memberships arrived through an existing member's referral.
Result: You know how much new business already comes from your own students.
Sales review agenda
A standing agenda for reviewing trial conversion and attendance data with staff whenever the numbers move.
Result: Staff review real numbers instead of only reacting to complaints.
Manager dashboard view
A simple view of trial conversion, attendance risk and referrals set up for a studio manager to check.
Result: The manager sees the numbers that predict growth, not the ones that lag it.
How the result is measured
- Target achievement
- Pipeline coverage
- Stuck deals resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What the studio manager reviews
Read these six things in the booking app before the instructors' meeting.
- Trial classes booked and attended
- Check trials booked against those who turned up, by class type: Hatha, power yoga, mat or reformer pilates. A no-show should get a message offering another slot.
- Trials that did not join
- List trial students who did not buy a membership and what the instructor noted after class. Call with an answer to their concern, such as the timing or the level.
- Members whose attendance dropped
- Read the attendance log in the booking app for members who used to come often and now rarely do. Ask their regular instructor to message them before the renewal date.
- Memberships ending soon
- Pull memberships ending soon and check each member's recent attendance. Call those still attending about renewal, and ask those who stopped what changed.
- Corporate and prenatal enquiries
- Check enquiries for office yoga sessions and prenatal batches separately, with the contact and stage. These need a different conversation from a drop-in student.
- New members referred by members
- Note which new members were referred by an existing one. Thank the member, and read these when deciding which classes to add.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The studio does not record trials or renewals, so there is no pipeline to review.
- The owner is the only person selling, and a review of one person's conversations needs no system yet.
How it works
How the sales management work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Look at what exists
We ask for the last few weeks of calendars, pipeline records and review notes, and find where the routine breaks.
- 2
Write the routine down
Slots, agendas, attendees and the records each meeting uses are agreed in writing before the first one.
- 3
Clean the pipeline first
Stage definitions are fixed and stale deals removed, so the first review is about real deals.
- 4
Run or coach
We lead the meetings, or sit in while your manager leads and give feedback afterwards.
- 5
Deal with problems as they appear
A slipping number is discussed at the next one-on-one with notes, not stored up for an appraisal.
- 6
Hand over
Your manager or owner takes the routine, with the templates and records, and we step back.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3 · you are here
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
