GullySales

Hyperlocal advertising · Marketing

How far a customer will travel to you decides this plan, not the channel.

Ask how far somebody will actually come. A salon in Nagarbhavi loses a customer to the one two streets away. A cardiac unit draws patients from three districts, and a school fills from whichever roads its bus covers.

In one paragraph

Hyperlocal advertising buys media for one catchment instead of a whole city: radius and pin-code targeting, apartment panels, the bus shelter on the approach road and the nearest cinema screen. GullySales draws the catchment first, then buys only the media sitting inside it.

That distance is the plan. Inside a three kilometre ring, a lift panel, a bus shelter and a radius-targeted search campaign reach the same household twice a week for very little. Outside it, the same money buys sightings from people who will never make the drive.

Most local campaigns are bought the other way round. A pamphlet printer calls, a hoarding agent offers a site, an apartment agency quotes a lift panel, and the money follows whoever sold hardest. We put the catchment on a map in pin codes and roads before anybody is paid.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • We advertised across the city and our customers all live two kilometres away

The hoardings, the radio spot and the city-wide campaign were paid for in full, while everybody who could realistically reach the shop lives inside a small ring around it.

  • The apartment standee was taken down in two days

Apartment media runs on the association's permission. The secretary decides what is allowed, whether that is the notice board, a lift panel or a stall on Sunday morning, and anything put up without written approval comes down.

  • Twenty thousand pamphlets went out and the phone did not ring

Nobody checked which streets the distributor covered, and the pamphlet carried no offer, no number of its own and no reason for a family to keep it.

  • Every branch runs the same advertisement

One branch sits beside an IT park and another beside a wholesale market, so the same creative and the same targeting cannot work for both.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Catchment map

Pin codes, the roads people actually use, drive times at the hours your customers travel, and the flyover or railway line that stops them coming at all.

  2. Radius and pin-code targeting

Search, social and Maps campaigns set to the catchment rather than the city, with the Google Business Profile corrected so the map result agrees with the advertisement.

  3. Apartment and gated community media, with permission

The association is approached for written permission first, then the notice board, lift panels, a stall or sampling on the day it allows.

  4. Physical media inside the ring

The bus shelter on the approach road, the nearest cinema screen and auto branding on routes into the area. The local edition covers the locality in the language spoken there.

  5. Local voices

Creators who post about that part of the city, resident WhatsApp and Facebook groups, and the shops and clinics next door who already send people on.

  6. One number per catchment

A dedicated phone number and QR code for each branch, so a call or a walk-in is traced to the campaign that produced it.

  7. Reporting by area

Enquiries counted by pin code every month, so the spend moves towards the streets that answer.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries by pin code
  • Walk-ins traced to the campaign's own number or QR code
  • Cost per enquiry inside the catchment
  • Apartment permissions secured against those approached
  • Share of enquiries arriving from outside the catchment

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • A clinic, salon or gym whose customers all live or work within a few kilometres
  • Restaurants that fill from the offices and apartments within a fifteen-minute drive
  • A property project selling mostly to buyers who already live in that part of the city
  • New branches and stores in an area where nobody knows the name yet
  • Chains that need one plan per branch catchment instead of a single city buy

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Businesses selling across India, where a buyer's pin code changes nothing
  • B2B sellers chasing a few named accounts, since a list and a caller beat any radius
  • Anyone who needs volume quickly from a wide area, where a city campaign is the honest answer

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the hyperlocal advertising work runs

  1. 1

Plot where your customers came from

We take the last few hundred bills or CRM records and plot the pin codes, which settles the catchment argument faster than any survey.

  2. 2

Rank the media inside the ring

Every option that reaches those pin codes is compared on cost and on how many times the same household sees it.

  3. 3

    Collect the permissions

Association approvals, site and artwork approvals, and the dates each one allows, in hand before anything is booked.

  4. 4

Launch with a number of its own

The phone number, QR code and landing page for this catchment go live before the first panel or pamphlet does.

  5. 5

Measure by area and move the money

Enquiries are counted by pin code and spend shifts each month towards the areas that reply.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How big should the catchment be?
As far as your customers already travel, which the last few hundred bills will tell you. For a salon that can be two kilometres. A multi-speciality hospital reaches across three districts, and the two need completely different media.
Can we advertise inside an apartment complex?
Only with the association's written permission. Each one sets its own rules about notice boards, lift panels, standees and Sunday stalls, and some charge a fee while others allow no outside advertising at all. We ask first and hold the approval in writing before anything is printed.
What does this look like for a hospital?
It is drawn department by department. A general OPD pulls from a few kilometres, so apartment boards, the local edition and a radius-targeted Maps campaign carry it. A cardiac or oncology unit pulls from much further, and that one is worked through referring doctors and clinics across the district instead.
And for a restaurant, a property project or a store?
A restaurant is planned around the offices and apartments within a fifteen-minute drive, with Maps, delivery-app visibility and lift panels in the nearest complexes. For a property project, the media follows the roads to the site and the complexes buyers are moving out of. A retail store works its two or three approach roads, the nearest cinema screen and the creator whose audience already shops on that street.
How is this priced?
There is no published price. Media cost depends on what the catchment needs, because an apartment panel and a cinema screen are quoted on different terms. Our fee for the planning and the coordination is agreed in writing after the free audit, with printing and artwork costed separately.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
