Cloud marketplace listing and co-sell · Channel and partners

Get your offer onto the cloud marketplaces your buyers already spend their commitments on.

Indian enterprises hold a committed spend with a hyperscaler and prefer to buy software and services against it. For an IT services or software firm, that turns a marketplace listing into a second route to a purchase order. It also puts you in front of the hyperscaler's own account managers, who bring partners into deals they already run.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Business partners reviewing a joint marketing presentation

In one paragraph

Cloud marketplace listing and co-sell is the work of publishing your product or service on the AWS, Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces and working alongside the hyperscaler sales teams on shared accounts. GullySales writes the listing, builds the co-sell pack and sets up the way your team talks to those partner managers. No listing or co-sell deal is promised.

The listing itself is the smaller job. The harder part is the page a buyer reads, the one-page pitch a hyperscaler rep repeats without you in the room, and a named person on your side who answers the rep within the day. We write those, and we help your team learn how each cloud's partner programme asks to be approached.

Each marketplace sets its own eligibility, review steps and fees, and they change. We work from the current partner documentation and your own cloud accounts, and we never promise that a listing is approved or that a rep takes you into a deal.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Our buyer asked if we are on the marketplace and we said we would check”

Procurement teams use the marketplace to buy against an existing commitment. Without a listing, the deal waits or goes to a vendor that has one.

  • “We met the partner manager once and nothing happened”

A rep has no reason to bring you into an account without a short, clear pitch and a named customer problem. The introduction was never the missing piece.

  • “Our listing is live and nobody has found it”

A listing written as a product brochure is not found by a buyer searching for a data migration or a security tool. Titles, descriptions and category choices are written for how that buyer searches.

  • “Sales and the cloud team do not agree who owns this”

The sales head sees it as a distraction and the engineering head sees it as paperwork. Without one owner, the partner manager's emails go unanswered.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Readiness check

A written view of whether your offer, entity, billing set-up and cloud partner status are ready to list, and what is missing if not.

  2. Marketplace listing copy

Title, description, search terms, feature points and support information for each marketplace, written for the buyer who searches there.

  3. Offer and pricing structure

A plain description of how the offer is bought on the marketplace, whether by plan, by private offer or by contract, drafted for you to price. GullySales does not set your price.

  4. Co-sell pitch pack

A one-page account pitch, a short deck and a customer problem statement that a hyperscaler rep repeats without you present.

  5. Target account list for co-sell

Named accounts where your offer fits and where your team already has a relationship, ready to share with the partner manager.

  6. Partner manager communication routine

A named owner on your side, a shared note of every conversation and a short reply template, so no rep message sits unanswered.

  7. Marketplace launch content

A page on your website, a LinkedIn post and an email to existing customers announcing that they now buy through the marketplace.

How the result is measured

  • Listings submitted and listings approved, by marketplace
  • Marketplace page views and enquiries traced to the listing
  • Co-sell accounts shared with partner managers
  • Accounts where a hyperscaler rep joined a call
  • Deals bought through a marketplace, with source recorded

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Software product firms in Bengaluru, Pune or Hyderabad whose enterprise buyers ask whether you are on the AWS or Azure marketplace
  • IT services firms with a packaged offer, such as a cloud migration or data platform build, that a rep describes in two sentences
  • SaaS companies that already sell to large Indian or overseas accounts and want purchase against a cloud commitment
  • Firms with a cloud partner status or a technical certification that is not yet turned into pipeline
  • Founders who have had one hyperscaler introduction and no follow-up

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You do not yet have an offer that you sell the same way twice. A listing for a custom project fills a page and produces no purchase. Fix the offer first, which is product and packaging work
  • You sell mostly to small businesses that pay by card or UPI and do not hold cloud commitments. The marketplace adds fees and effort for buyers who will never use it
  • You expect the hyperscaler to send leads. Co-sell works where you bring the customer relationship and they bring access to budget and credibility

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs

  1. 1

Understand the offer and the buyer

We read your requirements brief and listen to how your best-fit buyers purchase today, including whether they hold a cloud commitment.

  2. 2

    Check readiness

We review the offer, your cloud partner status and the practical steps each marketplace asks for, and tell you plainly if listing is premature.

  3. 3

Write the listing and the pitch

The listing copy and the co-sell pack are drafted together, so the buyer and the rep hear the same story.

  4. 4

    Submit and respond

Your team submits through your own cloud accounts with our copy. We help answer review questions and fix rejections.

  5. 5

    Work the co-sell accounts

We prepare account briefs for the partner manager, track each conversation and report on what moved.

  6. 6

    Measure and refine

We read which searches reach the listing and which accounts progressed, then rewrite what is not working.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will a marketplace listing bring us leads?
Not on its own. A listing makes you easy to buy for customers who already want you. Leads come from the same marketing and sales work that feeds the rest of your pipeline, and we say so before we start.
Can you guarantee a hyperscaler will co-sell with us?
No. Each cloud decides which partners it brings into which deals. We improve the pitch and the account fit, and the hyperscaler makes the call.
Do you handle the technical and legal steps of listing?
We write the content and organise the submission. Your own engineers do the technical integration and your finance and legal people handle tax, billing and the marketplace agreement. We name those steps early so they do not surprise you.
Which marketplace should we start with?
The one your largest buyers already use. Ask three of your best accounts which cloud holds their commitment. Starting with one and doing it properly beats listing on three and neglecting two.
What does this cost?
There is no published price. After we read your requirements brief at /requirements, we put the fee in writing, split across our time, any paid promotion and production costs. Marketplace fees are charged by the cloud provider and are separate.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
