Electric car dealerships · Digital marketing

Decide which online efforts bring EV buyers and which only bring clicks.

Digital marketing for an electric car dealership covers search, ads, social media, email and chat, all aimed at getting a doubtful EV buyer to a test drive. GullySales picks the few that suit your city and your sales team, and sets up the tracking to show which one books drives.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For electric car dealerships

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Spending on every channel proves nothing”

A dealership that runs a little of everything cannot tell which brought a drive. Fewer channels, each tracked to a booking, show the owner where the money works.

  • “The brand's campaign lifts interest, and the dealership loses the click”

National advertising by the manufacturer sends buyers to the brand's site. Your local effort has to meet the buyer who then asks where to try the car and who will assist with charging nearby.

  • “Clicks and drives are different things”

An advertisement can bring people to a page and none to the showroom. Measure test-drive bookings and visits, and stop counting clicks as success.

  • “The website and the follow-up decide the result”

Good advertising sent to a slow page or an unanswered form is wasted. The reply to the enquiry is part of the marketing, not something that comes after it.

What we do

What we deliver for electric car dealerships.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan for your city

A short plan naming the few channels worth using, why, and what each should achieve.

Result: The owner knows where the money is going and for what.

  2. Search and social advertising set-up

Campaigns aimed at charging, running-cost and local showroom searches, with the advertisement text and pages matched.

Result: Each advertisement leads to a page that answers its promise.

  3. Tracking from click to drive

Forms, calls and chats tagged so each booking can be traced to its source.

Result: The owner can read bookings by source.

  4. Landing pages for campaigns

    Single-purpose pages for a model, a launch or a test-drive event.

Result: Campaigns do not send buyers to a general home page.

  5. A review of results with the sales head

A discussion of drives, bookings and drop-out reasons against the baseline noted at the start.

Result: Decisions about spend rest on the dealership's own figures.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should an EV dealership spend on digital marketing?
That depends on your margins, sales target and what the brand co-funds. Set a figure you can afford to test, track bookings from it and adjust. GullySales does not promise results from any spend.
Does the brand's co-operative advertising limit what we can do?
Brands set rules on logos, wording and offers. Read your dealer agreement and ask the brand's marketing contact before you publish. Follow the rules even where they restrict a message.
Should we advertise before the cars are in stock?
Be careful. Advertise what you can deliver, and be clear when a model is a booking and not a stock unit. Misleading a buyer about availability damages trust that is slow to rebuild.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
