Car detailing studios · Lead generation

Bring in the enquiries that turn into coating bookings, not the ones that ask for a wash price.

Lead generation for a detailing studio is the work of getting a car owner who wants a coating, a PPF wrap or a deep interior clean to send you their car details and a photo. GullySales works on where those enquiries come from, how each one is captured, and which source brings the cars you want in the bay.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For car detailing studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A wash enquiry and a coating enquiry are different leads”

The owner asking the price of a foam wash will not become a coating customer this month, and the owner asking about PPF on a new SUV will not wait for a reply. Counting both as one lead hides which source fills the high-value bays.

  • “The new-car owner is reachable for a short stretch”

Someone collecting a delivery from the showroom is deciding on protection right then. Dealer handover desks, accessory shops and showroom staff meet that buyer before any search does, so a referral route matters as much as an ad.

  • “The photo is the lead”

A car owner who sends pictures of swirl marks or a stained seat is ready to be quoted. A form asking for name and city first loses them to the studio that simply answers on WhatsApp, so the capture point should ask for the car and the photo.

  • “Instagram attracts viewers, not booked cars”

A reel of a polished bonnet collects admirers from other cities. Without a clear booking link, a service area and a car type on the post, the enquiry that arrives is a compliment rather than a job.

What we do

What we deliver for car detailing studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A source tag on every enquiry

Each call, message and form entry is marked with where the car owner found you: Maps, Instagram, dealer, friend or ad.

Result: You can see which source sent the coating jobs.

  2. An enquiry form built around the car

Make, model, year, the service wanted and an upload for photos, on the website and in the link from your bio.

Result: Quotes start from a real car, not a blank question.

  3. A dealer and accessory-shop referral sheet

A one-page sheet for showroom staff and accessory shops naming what you coat, wrap and clean, with a way to note who sent which car.

Result: You know which partner brings the new-car owners.

  4. Ads aimed at one service at a time

Meta and Google campaigns for a single offer, such as first coating for a new car, with an audience and area chosen to match.

Result: Spend can be read against one service, not a mixed pool.

  5. A fixed reply for each service

Written answers for coating, PPF and interior work covering what is included, what the car owner must bring and what you will confirm after inspection.

Result: Every enquiry gets the same clear first reply.

  6. A list of lost enquiries

A sheet of enquiries that never booked, with the stated reason beside each.

Result: You can see whether price, timing or silence lost the job.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Capture what separates a coating enquiry from a wash enquiry before the first quote.

Photographs of the paint from four sides
Ask for them in the first reply. Swirl marks, fading and chips decide whether the car needs correction before coating, and the quote is wrong without them.
Car model, colour and age
A new white hatchback and an older black SUV need different prep. Record both at first contact so the quote and the bay time match the car.
Date the car was bought or will be delivered
A new-car owner is reachable for a short stretch around delivery. Note the date so the follow-up lands before they hand the car to a dealer accessory counter.
What the owner wants protected
Paint, glass, leather or the whole car. It shows whether the lead is for coating, PPF or interior work, and which packages to describe first.
Drop-off or doorstep
Record whether the car comes to the studio or the team goes to the home. Coating at a doorstep is a different job and needs a covered space.

Who it is for

This is written for these car detailing studios.

  • Mobile car detailing services
  • Studio-based detailing centres
  • Ceramic coating and PPF specialists
  • Bike detailing and coating studios
  • Fleet and dealership detailing partners
  • Luxury and exotic car detailing specialists
  • Interior deep cleaning specialists
  • Car wash and quick service outlets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your bay is booked with work for the coming days, so more coating enquiries would wait while another studio takes them.
  • You have no one to reply to a photograph the same day, and the enquiry would go to a studio that does.
  • You cannot yet describe what correction and coating involve, so each lead would start with an argument about price.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we run ads or rely on referrals?
Do both, but read them separately. Referrals from dealers and customers bring cars already half convinced, while ads reach new buyers who know nothing about you. Tag each source so the next decision rests on your own records.
How do we stop price-only enquiries from taking our time?
Put a starting range or a clear package list where the car owner first lands, and ask for the car and photo before quoting. Those who only want the lowest wash price drop out, and the serious ones continue.
Is a landing page needed for each service?
A separate page for coating and another for PPF helps, because the car owner searching for one is not looking for the other. Each page should show your own work for that service and one booking route.
Why do we ask for photographs before quoting a coating?
The paint's condition decides the prep, and the prep decides the work. A quote without photographs is a guess that gets revised at the bay, which looks like a hidden charge. Photographs also record the condition before you touch the car.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
