Auto repair shops · Local SEO
Be the garage that shows on the map when a car stops working near you.
Local SEO for an auto repair shop is the work of appearing in the three map results when a driver searches for a mechanic, a service or a tow in your locality. GullySales works on the listing, the service pages and the review flow that decide who those three garages are.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For auto repair shops
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The breakdown search has no patience in it”
A driver with a warning light on, parked on a side road, opens Maps and taps the nearest open garage with a phone number. Ranking for that moment depends on distance, correct hours and a listing that shows a working call button.
“One listing cannot carry every service”
A garage that does AC gas refills, denting, painting and wheel alignment lists itself as a general repairer and matches none of those searches closely. The primary service, the added services and the written description each need to name the work in the words a driver types.
“Brand names bring the right customer”
An owner of a particular make searches for that make plus the word service plus the locality. A multi-brand garage that never names the makes it handles is invisible to the driver who wants to know whether their car is welcome.
“Reviews are read for the story of one repair”
A driver scanning a garage's reviews looks for a billing dispute, a car returned dirtier than it arrived, or a repair that took longer than quoted. One unanswered complaint outweighs several short five-star lines, so replies matter as much as the rating.
What we do
What we deliver for auto repair shops.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A listing built around the jobs you want
Primary service, added services, description and service list written for the work you most want to win, such as AC service, brake work or denting and painting.
Result: A search for that job shows a listing that names it.
Hours that match the workshop floor
Opening hours, lunch breaks, holiday hours and the last time a car is accepted entered on the listing, so a driver is never sent to a shut gate.
Result: The evening search finds a garage that is open.
A page for each locality and each make
Separate service pages for the areas you draw from and the makes you handle, each with real photographs of your bays and a plain list of what is done.
Result: You can point to the page that matches a given search.
Photographs of the workshop and the work
Bay, lift, tools, the reception desk and before-and-after jobs, added with the customer's permission and with number plates hidden.
Result: A nervous first-timer sees a proper workshop before visiting.
A review request at vehicle handover
A link on a card or sent to the owner's phone at the moment the car is returned and the bill explained, with a written reply to every review that arrives.
Result: The newest reviews come from recent customers.
Calls, directions and website taps read off the listing
The listing's own counts for calls, direction requests and website visits, set against the figures recorded before the work started.
Result: You can see whether the map brings vehicles to the gate.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Searches your buyers type
What a driver types into Maps, and the listing detail that answers it.
- car mechanic open now near me
- The listing's hours, including the last time a car is accepted and the lunch break. A driver sent to a shut gate does not try again.
- car AC gas refill near me
- AC service as an added service, with a line in the description saying what you check before a refill and which makes you work on.
- Maruti service centre near Jayanagar
- The makes you handle named in the description, and a locality page that says plainly whether you are authorised or multi-brand.
- denting painting garage near me
- Denting and painting listed as its own service, with photographs of finished panels taken with the owner's permission and plates hidden.
- garage near me with cashless insurance
- The insurers you are on the panel of, written in the description. Name only those you actually deal with.
- car towing and repair near me
- A call button that works at night, and a description that says whether you send a tow vehicle or only receive one.
Who it is for
This is written for these auto repair shops.
- Multi-brand service garages
- Authorised brand service centres
- Denting and painting specialists
- Two-wheeler service centres
- Fleet and commercial vehicle service providers
- Insurance-claim repair specialists
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You have no one at the counter to answer the listing's call button during opening hours, so a ranked listing would only bring missed calls.
- Your garage has moved or changed its name recently and the pin, signboard and old reviews still disagree, which needs sorting before more people are sent there.
- Most of your work is fleet contracts agreed offline, so a driver on a side road is not the customer you are short of.
How it works
How the local SEO work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Write down what is true
Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.
- 2
Search as your buyer does
We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.
- 3
Fix the profile first
Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.
- 4
Build the branch pages and match the listings
Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.
- 5
Ask, reply and measure
We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
