Business coaches and corporate trainers · Email marketing

Stay in the inbox of the manager who will run L and D somewhere else.

Email marketing for a coach or trainer is staying in touch with past participants and HR contacts through the years it takes for a training need to return. GullySales builds the list from people you have actually met, writes the emails around your own sessions, and times them to the budget year.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For business coaches and corporate trainers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Participants change companies and take you with them

A manager who did your programme in Whitefield and has moved to a Hyderabad company is the warmest enquiry you will get. Only a list keeps that alive.

  • February is a different email from June

In the last quarter of the financial year you offer a programme that can still run before 31 March. In June you ask to be in next year's plan.

  • A bought HR database is not a list

Names scraped from a database have never heard you speak. Mailing them gets your domain marked as spam, which then buries the proposal you send to a real client.

What we do

What we deliver for business coaches and corporate trainers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built from talks, webinars and programmes

Names, roles and companies collected with consent at every session you run, held in one place instead of across old spreadsheets.

Result: Everyone on the list has met you.

  2. Contacts tagged by role, company and programme attended

Each contact marked as an HR buyer, a business head or an individual client, and linked to the programme they sat in.

Result: An email about first-time managers goes only to people who care about first-time managers.

  3. A year-end email for budget that lapses on 31 March

A short, direct message to past clients and warm HR contacts with the dates you can still deliver before the financial year closes.

Result: Unspent training budget has somewhere to go.

  4. A planning-season email that asks to be in the calendar

A February and March message carrying next year's programme calendar, written for an L and D team building its plan.

Result: You are on the list before the budget is divided up.

  5. A routine for spotting a past participant's new job

A monthly check on where past participants and HR contacts have moved, with a short congratulations note and an offer for the new team.

Result: A job change becomes an enquiry instead of a lost contact.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for business coaches and corporate trainers

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we look at where your engagements have come from, how discovery calls convert, and where proposals are stalling in the approval chain.

  2. 2

    Name the offer

Each programme or coaching package written up with who it is for, the outcome, the format and a sample agenda.

  3. 3

    Build the proof

Clips, case notes, consented quotes and credentials organised so a buyer can check your work.

  4. 4

    Reach the buyers

LinkedIn content, association talks, webinars and outreach to HR heads and founders, timed to budget cycles.

  5. 5

    Close and extend

Proposal follow-up through HR, the business head and procurement, and a follow-on cohort or coaching proposal after every programme.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we build a list without buying one?
Take names at every talk, webinar and programme, with permission, and add the HR contacts you have already met in person. Four hundred people who have heard you speak beat forty thousand scraped addresses.
What do we send when there is nothing to announce?
The question a participant asked last month, and how you answered it. That is a real email. A newsletter about leadership trends is one nobody in HR opens twice.
Do we need to be empanelled with a company before we can train there?
Often, yes, for larger companies. Procurement usually wants GST and PAN details, bank information and sometimes an MSME certificate before it raises a purchase order. We keep these in a ready kit, so an approved proposal does not lose weeks to paperwork.
Should a trainer publish rates on the website?
For corporate programmes, usually not, since the fee depends on group size, days and customisation. For life coaching packages, a starting price can save time on discovery calls with people who cannot afford the package.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
