Car rental companies · Reputation management

The review is about the driver and the charges added at the end.

Reputation management for a car rental business covers what a traveller writes after the trip, usually about the driver or a charge that was not in the quote. GullySales sets up monitoring, a reply routine built on the trip record, and a review ask at drop-off.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For car rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your driver writes your reviews

Eight hours with one person decides what a family says publicly, and no amount of marketing repairs a driver who argued about the toll.

  • Hidden charge complaints are quote complaints

A one-star review about extra kilometres is nearly always a quote that never mentioned the minimum, so the fix sits upstream of the review.

  • Self-drive deposits are the recurring dispute

A scratch nobody photographed at pickup becomes an argument, then a public complaint, and photographs at handover settle it before it starts.

What we do

What we deliver for car rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Monitoring across Maps, portals and listings

Reviews on Maps, JustDial and the aggregator profiles checked on a routine, with anything about safety or a charge raised the same day.

Result: You hear about a problem before it reaches the portal.

  2. Replies written from the trip sheet

A reply approach using the quote sent, the kilometres run and the handover photographs, stated once and without argument.

Result: The next reader sees an operator who keeps records.

  3. Review asks at drop-off

The request made by the driver at the end of a trip that went well, with a link sent on WhatsApp the same evening.

Result: The trips that went right are the ones reviewed.

  4. Driver briefing and conduct standards

A written briefing on punctuality, tolls, language and what a driver may and may not charge, used before every trip.

Result: The eight hours that decide the review are managed.

  5. Handover photographs for self-drive

Timestamped photographs and a signed checklist at pickup and return, with the deduction rules sent before the booking is confirmed.

Result: A deposit dispute is settled against the record.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for car rental companies

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your booking sources, the share going through aggregators, reply time on quote requests, reviews, and how the fleet is used across the week.

  2. 2

    Fix the quote

An all-in quote format, quick replies and an evening rota, so every enquiry gets a clear figure fast.

  3. 3

    Be found for each route

Route and service pages, a complete Maps profile and consistent listings with visible licences.

  4. 4

    Fill the weekdays

Corporate rate contracts, airport transfers, hotel and planner partnerships, and seasonal campaigns.

  5. 5

    Bring them back direct

A customer record, repeat trip reminders and a review ask after every completed trip.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A customer left a one-star review about extra charges. What do we do?
Reply once with the quote you sent and the kilometres actually run, politely and without blame. Offer to review it on a call. Then change the quote format, because the next customer will have the same complaint otherwise.
Should we reply to reviews on aggregator platforms too?
Yes. Travellers read them before choosing an operator on the portal, and an unanswered complaint costs you future allocations. Keep the same facts and the same tone you use on Maps.
Should we stop using aggregators?
No. They are useful for filling cars and reaching travellers who do not know you. The aim is to make every aggregator customer a direct customer for their next trip, through a good experience and a way to contact you.
What documents do corporate clients usually ask for?
Typically GST registration, vehicle permits and insurance, driver licences and background verification, and details of GPS tracking. Having these in one pack speeds up vendor approval.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
