Caterers · Email marketing

Reach the admin team that signs a canteen contract, not a bride's mother.

Email for a caterer works on the corporate side, where a cafeteria contract, an office party and a factory canteen are all decided in an inbox. GullySales builds the list from the offices and estates near your kitchen, writes the proposal they can forward, and keeps consent handled properly.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For caterers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Families answer WhatsApp, admin teams answer email

A bride's family will not open a proposal PDF. A facilities manager will not accept anything else.

  • Canteen contracts renew on a date

Somebody's contract ends in March every year, and the caterer who wrote in January is the one asked to quote.

  • Last year's host has a cousin getting married

A short note to the family whose function you catered is the cheapest booking you will ever take.

What we do

What we deliver for caterers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of the offices and estates near your kitchen

Companies, tech parks, factories and hostels within your delivery radius, with the admin or facilities contact found properly rather than bought.

Result: You are writing to people who can sign a contract.

  2. A cafeteria proposal with the document pack attached

Sample weekly menus, per-head pricing, a trial period offer, and the FSSAI, hygiene and staff records, in one mail a finance team accepts.

Result: The proposal gets circulated instead of queried.

  3. A note timed to the contract renewal months

A short mail to each facilities manager a couple of months before their current contract ends, offering a trial week rather than a pitch.

Result: You get asked to quote instead of hearing about it later.

  4. The year-end corporate party mail sent in October

A party menu, the live counter options and the dates still open, written to HR and admin teams before their budgets are committed.

Result: December fills with functions booked in autumn.

  5. A season-opening note to the families you cooked for

A short personal mail to past hosts before the same season comes round again, asking who else in the family is planning something.

Result: Referrals come from people who already ate your food.

  6. Opens, replies and quotes reported monthly

Which mails were opened, which brought replies and which turned into a quote or a trial, split between the corporate and family lists, against the baseline.

Result: You learn which list is worth the time.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these caterers.

  • Wedding and function caterers
  • Traditional vegetarian and Brahmin cooks for ceremonies
  • Non-vegetarian and biryani specialists
  • Corporate event and party caterers
  • Office cafeteria and daily meal providers
  • Industrial and factory canteen contractors
  • School and hostel meal providers
  • Live counter and snack specialists
  • Home-based caterers for small gatherings

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for caterers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where enquiries come from, reply speed, how quotes and tastings are handled, and how the calendar fills across the year.

  2. 2

Fix the enquiry to tasting step

A reply routine, clear menus and a tasting schedule with reminders, so interested families actually come.

  3. 3

    Show the events

Event photographs, reviews after every function and complete listings on Google and wedding platforms.

  4. 4

    Fill the gaps

Corporate, small-gathering and festival campaigns for the dates the wedding calendar leaves empty.

  5. 5

    Earn the next booking

Venue relationships, planner referrals and a thank-you and review ask after each event.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we buy a list of HR contacts?
Do not. Bought lists get marked as spam and take your domain with them, so the facilities manager who would have replied never sees the next mail. Build it from estates you can drive to.
How often should we write to corporate contacts?
Four or five times a year, and once more before their renewal month. A caterer mailing weekly with the same menu gets filed under promotions and stays there.
Should we give a per-plate price over the phone?
Give a range with the menu attached, not a single number. A price without the item count, counters and service included becomes the figure a competitor undercuts with a smaller menu.
Should we charge for tastings?
Many caterers offer a tasting free for serious enquiries above a guest count, or adjust a small fee against the booking. What matters more is that every tasting is scheduled, reminded and followed up the next day.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
