Caterers · Local SEO

Show up on Maps for the area your kitchen can actually deliver to.

Local SEO decides whether a family or an office nearby finds you when they search for a caterer in their area. GullySales sets the Business Profile category and menus, gets the kitchen address and service area right, and keeps the details matching across the listing sites.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For caterers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your service area is a driving time, not a city

Hot food travels an hour and no further, so the listing has to say where you can genuinely deliver.

  • The kitchen address is not a showroom

Nobody visits a catering kitchen except a corporate inspection, which is exactly the visitor the address has to satisfy.

  • Your category is probably wrong

Filed as a restaurant when you mainly run canteen contracts, and the enquiries that keep arriving prove it.

What we do

What we deliver for caterers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The profile category matched to the work you want

A primary category chosen between caterer, wedding service, canteen and food service, with secondary categories added for the rest of what you do.

Result: The enquiries arriving are the ones you can serve.

  2. A service area set to your real delivery radius

The localities and towns you can reach with hot food in time, listed on the profile, with the kitchen address shown or hidden as you decide.

Result: You stop being called for functions three hours away.

  3. Menus and per-plate ranges on the profile

Each menu added with its items and a price range in the services section, so a comparison can happen on your listing.

Result: Somebody can shortlist you from Maps alone.

  4. Photographs of counters in service, not plated dishes

The buffet running, the service team at work, a crowd being fed and the kitchen itself, uploaded each season rather than left from years ago.

Result: The scale you work at is visible before anyone calls.

  5. One set of details across Google, JustDial and WedMeGood

Business name, address, phone, capacity and cuisines made to match everywhere you are listed, including the wedding platforms.

Result: Google sees one business rather than three.

  6. Maps reporting by search, call and message

The monthly count of discovery searches, calls and messages from the listing, read against the baseline recorded at the start.

Result: You know whether Maps brings dates or only questions.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these caterers.

  • Wedding and function caterers
  • Traditional vegetarian and Brahmin cooks for ceremonies
  • Non-vegetarian and biryani specialists
  • Corporate event and party caterers
  • Office cafeteria and daily meal providers
  • Industrial and factory canteen contractors
  • School and hostel meal providers
  • Live counter and snack specialists
  • Home-based caterers for small gatherings

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for caterers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where enquiries come from, reply speed, how quotes and tastings are handled, and how the calendar fills across the year.

  2. 2

Fix the enquiry to tasting step

A reply routine, clear menus and a tasting schedule with reminders, so interested families actually come.

  3. 3

    Show the events

Event photographs, reviews after every function and complete listings on Google and wedding platforms.

  4. 4

    Fill the gaps

Corporate, small-gathering and festival campaigns for the dates the wedding calendar leaves empty.

  5. 5

    Earn the next booking

Venue relationships, planner referrals and a thank-you and review ask after each event.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our kitchen is in an industrial area nobody visits. Do we show it?
Yes, for corporate work, because an admin team wants to see a real licensed kitchen with an address. For family enquiries the service area matters more than the pin.
Can we appear in a city we deliver to but have no kitchen in?
Only if it sits inside a service area you can genuinely serve hot food in. A second listing at an address you do not operate from gets taken down and costs you the first one.
Should we give a per-plate price over the phone?
Give a range with the menu attached, not a single number. A price without the item count, counters and service included becomes the figure a competitor undercuts with a smaller menu.
Should we charge for tastings?
Many caterers offer a tasting free for serious enquiries above a guest count, or adjust a small fee against the booking. What matters more is that every tasting is scheduled, reminded and followed up the next day.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
