Caterers · Pay per click advertising

Advertise the menu you cook best, in the months dates get fixed.

Paid advertising for a caterer puts you in front of a family or an admin team while the shortlist is still being made. GullySales runs the search campaigns by menu and guest size, asks for the count and the food preference on the form, and keeps the spend off job seekers.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For caterers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The guest count decides whether a click is worth anything

A hundred-guest housewarming and an eight-hundred-guest reception cost the same click and are not the same business.

  • Corporate contracts are searched in office hours

Industrial canteen contractor and office cafeteria vendor get typed by an admin at eleven in the morning, not by a family on a Sunday.

  • Cook and helper searches will drain the budget

Catering jobs, cook vacancy, catering course and catering equipment sit right beside your keywords and turn into nothing.

What we do

What we deliver for caterers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by function and by guest size

Separate budgets for weddings, small home functions, corporate lunches and cafeteria contracts, each with its own wording and its own page.

Result: A wedding budget never gets spent on a birthday enquiry.

  2. A form that asks the count, the date and the food

Guest count, date, venue, and whether the menu is vegetarian, Jain or non-vegetarian, all asked before a quote is built.

Result: You know whether your kitchen can cook it before you ring.

  3. Landing pages showing the menu at that scale

The page behind each advert carrying the menu, the per-plate range and photographs of a function that size, rather than a mixed gallery.

Result: The click sees a function like the one being planned.

  4. Negatives for jobs, courses and equipment

Blocks on catering jobs, cook vacancy, catering course, catering trolley, tiffin service and the searches from people who want to start a catering business.

Result: The budget stops paying for cooks looking for work.

  5. Spend timed to the muhurtham calendar

Budget raised in the months before the main wedding dates in your region and ahead of the corporate year end, then pulled back in the gaps.

Result: You advertise while dates are still being fixed.

  6. Cost per booked date, not cost per click

Spend read each month against enquiries, tastings held and dates booked, measured against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You stop paying for enquiries that never reach a tasting.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

How the work runs for caterers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where enquiries come from, reply speed, how quotes and tastings are handled, and how the calendar fills across the year.

  2. 2

Fix the enquiry to tasting step

A reply routine, clear menus and a tasting schedule with reminders, so interested families actually come.

  3. 3

    Show the events

Event photographs, reviews after every function and complete listings on Google and wedding platforms.

  4. 4

    Fill the gaps

Corporate, small-gathering and festival campaigns for the dates the wedding calendar leaves empty.

  5. 5

    Earn the next booking

Venue relationships, planner referrals and a thank-you and review ask after each event.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do families really search for caterers online?
For the first shortlist, yes, alongside asking relatives and the banquet hall. Corporate cafeteria contracts are almost entirely searched, because an admin cannot ask a cousin.
What should we spend?
Enough to run one function type through a full season. The audit works the number back from what one booked date at your average plate value is worth.
Should we give a per-plate price over the phone?
Give a range with the menu attached, not a single number. A price without the item count, counters and service included becomes the figure a competitor undercuts with a smaller menu.
Should we charge for tastings?
Many caterers offer a tasting free for serious enquiries above a guest count, or adjust a small fee against the booking. What matters more is that every tasting is scheduled, reminded and followed up the next day.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
