CCTV and security system installers · Reputation management

One dead camera in year two decides what people read about you.

Reputation for a CCTV installer is written by the service call, not the installation. A camera that stops working in year two, a recorder overwriting too soon, a technician who did not come. GullySales sets up monitoring, a reply routine and a review request at the moment the customer is satisfied.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For CCTV and security system installers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The review lands long after the money did

A shop owner rates you the day a camera goes dark, eighteen months after a clean installation and a paid invoice.

  • A privacy complaint is a different kind of review

A tenant or an employee who feels a camera points where it should not writes about the installer as well as the owner. Settling placement in writing at the survey protects both of you.

  • Societies ask other societies first

A committee checks with the block down the road before it calls you. One unanswered complaint in a neighbouring society costs a tender you never hear about.

What we do

What we deliver for CCTV and security system installers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Monitoring on Google, the directories and local groups

Reviews and mentions checked on a routine across the places a buyer looks, with anything new brought to the person who can act on it.

Result: Nothing sits unanswered for a month.

  2. A service response standard behind the reviews

A written promise on how quickly a fault call is attended under warranty and under an AMC, given to the customer and held to.

Result: The complaint is answered before it becomes a review.

  3. A reply routine for a dead camera complaint

Three sentence replies that state the installation date, the warranty or AMC position and a number to call, ready for whoever monitors the profile.

Result: The next reader sees a company that answers.

  4. Review requests at handover and at the AMC visit

The request made in person while the mobile app is being demonstrated, and again after a service visit that went well.

Result: Reviews come from customers at the moment they are pleased.

  5. A placement and coverage note signed at the survey

Where the cameras will point and where they will not, written down and agreed with the customer before the installation begins.

Result: A later argument about privacy is settled by the file.

  6. A current list of society references

Committees who have agreed to speak to a prospective customer, kept up to date and offered before another committee goes looking.

Result: The check a society makes reaches somebody who will speak well of you.

  7. A monthly summary of reviews and complaints

New reviews, the rating, the reply rate and what the complaints were actually about, reported against the baseline.

Result: You can see whether service or installation is the problem.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for CCTV and security system installers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where enquiries come from, how site surveys and quotes are handled, how many customers have an AMC, and what they buy afterwards.

  2. 2

    Fix the quote

A survey checklist and proposal format that explain the full system and are hard to undercut with a kit.

  3. 3

    Get found locally

Maps, local pages and referral routes with builders, electricians and associations in the areas you serve.

  4. 4

    Sell the service

An AMC at every installation, with a renewal routine and a record of every system installed.

  5. 5

    Grow each customer

Upgrades, alarms, access control and video door phones offered to customers who already trust your work.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A customer says our camera invaded a tenant's privacy. What do we do?
Answer factually and point to the placement note agreed at the survey. Camera positions, how long footage is kept and who may view it are the building owner's responsibility. Their own legal adviser is the one to tell them what applies. Your part is having the agreement in writing.
Do we reply to a bad review about a job from two years ago?
Yes, in three sentences. State when the system went in, what the warranty and AMC position is, and give a number to call. The reply is written for the next reader, not for the person who left it.
How do we stop customers giving our camera plan to a cheaper installer?
Share the placement plan with the quote, not before, and include the details only you can deliver: the recorder setup, remote viewing, warranty and AMC. Following up within a day of the survey also reduces the chance they shop around.
Should we advertise low package prices?
A clear entry package helps small shops and homes decide, as long as it states what is included. We avoid prices that only work by leaving out cabling or installation, because they lead to arguments on site.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
