Corporate training companies · Email marketing

Write to the HR heads who asked to hear from you, and nobody else.

Email marketing for a corporate training company is a short, permitted line to HR and L&D contacts: a new programme, an open batch, a reminder that next year's calendar is being fixed. GullySales cleans the list, records where each address came from and writes emails a busy HR head can answer in two lines.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For corporate training companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The list is a pile of business cards”

Cards from an HR conference, a bought database, old participants and a trainer's contacts sit in one sheet, with no note of who agreed to hear from you.

  • “One brochure goes to everyone”

A fresher induction offer and a leadership programme go to the same people, so the CHRO and the plant HR manager both ignore it.

  • “Mail from a trainer's Gmail”

A message from a personal address with a PDF attached lands in spam at a company with strict filters. The HR head never learns you wrote.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate training companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list audit with a source column

Each address marked with where it came from and when, and addresses with no source set aside until you can show agreement.

Result: You know whom you may write to.

  2. A sender set up on your own domain

An address at your company's domain, signed by a named person, with the technical records that prove the mail comes from you.

Result: Mail reaches the inbox of a company with strict filters.

  3. Segments by role and industry

CHRO and L&D heads, plant HR managers, sales heads and founders kept apart, each tagged by industry.

Result: A shopfloor offer does not reach a bank's L&D head.

  4. A short run of emails for new enquiries

Written for the buyer who asked once and went quiet, each one giving a fresh reason to reply and a single next step.

Result: A stalled enquiry gets a second look.

  5. A note to lapsed clients

For the company that bought a programme and has not rebooked, naming the programme it bought and the one that usually follows.

Result: Past clients hear from you without a hard sell.

  6. Replies logged in the CRM

A shared inbox for replies, with each answer entered against the account, and unsubscribes removed from the master list at once.

Result: No reply is lost on one person's laptop.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a training company needs before it sends a single email to an HR list.

Where each address came from
Add a source column: met at an HR forum, filled the enquiry form, attended an open batch, past client. Addresses with no source are the ones to question first.
Consent you can show
Keep a note of when and how someone agreed: a ticked box on your form, a reply, a card handed over with a request. India's data protection law is still being settled, so ask your legal adviser what to keep.
A sender the HR head recognises
Send from a name at your own domain, signed by a person, not from a trainer's personal Gmail. Ask whoever hosts your site to set the records that prove the mail is yours.
An unsubscribe that works
Put an unsubscribe link in every mail and remove the address from the master list the same day. A person who keeps getting mail after asking to stop turns a contact into a complaint.
Segments by role and industry
Separate CHRO and L&D heads, plant HR managers, sales heads and founders, and tag each by industry. A safety programme for fabricators means nothing to a bank's learning team.
A reply that reaches a person
Point replies to a shared inbox someone reads and logs in the CRM. An HR head answers with one line and a date, and a late reply to that line is a lost conversation.

Who it is for

This is written for these corporate training companies.

  • Soft skills and behavioural training firms
  • Leadership and manager development companies
  • Sales and customer service training firms
  • IT, software and technical skills trainers
  • Compliance and safety training providers
  • Shopfloor and supervisor training for manufacturers
  • Campus-to-corporate and fresher induction providers
  • Virtual and blended learning providers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for corporate training companies

  1. 1

Audit the last year of proposals

We trace where each enquiry came from, how fast it was answered, which proposals were sent and why each was won or lost, using your emails and the sales sheet.

  2. 2

Fix the record and the reply

One enquiry and RFQ record, a needs-conversation sheet and saved replies for each source, with a named owner for the shared inbox.

  3. 3

Build the pages and the empanelment pack

A page for every programme, trainer profiles with permission, a company details page and one folder of vendor documents.

  4. 4

Reach the buyers before budgets are set

Search, LinkedIn, permitted email and past clients lined up ahead of each company's planning period, with effort moved to the sources that produce proposals.

  5. 5

Follow through to the purchase order

Each proposal followed to a PO, a repeat order or a recorded no, and reported against the baseline taken at the start.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we buy a list of HR heads and L&D managers?
It is unwise. Nobody on a bought list agreed to hear from you, the data goes stale when people change jobs, and your domain can be marked as spam. Build the list from enquiries, events you attended and past participants, and ask a legal adviser about consent.
Is a newsletter better than writing to people one at a time?
For a training firm, one-to-one wins when the buyer is named and the context is known. A newsletter earns its place for open batches and new programmes, sent to a segment who asked for it. Do not send a general newsletter to a list of cold contacts.
Our emails go to spam. What should we check?
First the sender: the domain's authentication records, and whether mail leaves from a personal mailbox. Then the content: large attachments, many links and heavy images. Send a plain text note with a link to the programme page instead of a PDF.
Can we email people who attended our sessions?
Only for what they would expect, such as a related programme, and only with a way to stop. Participants were registered by their employer, so the HR sponsor is the real contact. Ask both whether they want to hear from you, and keep a record.
Should we sell the programme or the trainer?
Sell the programme and show the trainer as part of it. A buyer who falls for one facilitator takes the account with them if the person leaves. Put trainer profiles beside each programme, and keep the client relationship with a named account owner in the firm.
Do we need to be empanelled with large companies?
Only if they are the buyers you want. Empanelment brings repeat work but costs paperwork and, often, a lower rate. Keep your documents in one folder and apply to companies you chose, instead of every portal that sends an invitation.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
