There are four hundred screws on our site and the buyer cannot tell which one holds a shelf.
A fastener is described by six things and a buyer needs all six: type, diameter, length, thread, head and material. A listing that says 'stainless steel screws' has given none of them. The buyer opens the page, cannot tell, and goes to the counter shop with a sample in their pocket.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Fasteners are the screws, bolts, nuts, washers, anchors, rivets and nails that hold things together, bought by homeowners in small packs and by fabricators and contractors by the box or the kilogram. GullySales builds one row per size, shows the thread, material and head clearly, and gives bulk buyers a quotation route by quantity.
The money in fasteners is in repeat trade orders, and the homeowner pack is the way in. They are two different pages, built from the same rows.

Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell fasteners online.
- Fastener manufacturers and importers selling to dealers, fabricators and OEMs
- Trade suppliers who sell screws, nuts and bolts by weight or by box
- Brands selling anchor, rawl plug and screw kits to homes through marketplaces
- Stockists of stainless steel and zinc-plated fasteners for fabricators
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Sellers of non-standard or made-to-drawing fasteners who quote only after seeing the drawing. A quotation route suits you, not a shop page.
- A seller who cannot say the material or grade of their fasteners. Trade buyers ask, and a vague answer ends the enquiry.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of fasteners.
Diameter and length, and which way round
M8 by 40 means something specific to a fitter. A homeowner types 'screw for wall'. The page has to answer both: the size row, and a line saying what job it is for.
Material and grade
Mild steel, zinc plated, stainless steel and brass behave differently outdoors, in a bathroom or near the sea. The buyer asks which will not rust, and a trade buyer asks for the grade.
Head and drive
Hex, pan, countersunk, Phillips, Torx and slotted. The wrong drive means a screw that cannot be turned with the tools on the site.
By piece, by box, by kilogram
A fabricator thinks in kilograms and a homeowner in packs of twenty. The same stock is priced three ways, and the buyer compares whichever unit they know.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell fasteners online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“Customers return screws because they were too short”
The photograph showed a screw with no scale and the title gave no length. A dimension drawing beside the product removes the guess.
“Our stainless steel screws rust and the review says they are fake”
Stainless comes in grades and cheap grades do mark in damp places. A page that names the grade and where it suits stops the wrong expectation.
“Fabricators call us for sizes we already list”
A buyer who cannot find the row in a long list phones. A searchable table of sizes, pack counts and rates lets them check without ringing.
“Our anchors fail and the buyer blames us”
A plastic anchor in a hollow brick wall is the wrong anchor. Telling the buyer what wall each one suits is the quietest way to prevent a bad review.
The scope
The work we would propose for fasteners.
Measured on purchases and, for trade buyers, qualified enquiries, quotation requests and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- A row for every sizeEach family gets a table with diameter, length, thread, head, drive, material and finish, one row per size, with the exact size written as it is searched.
- Wall and material guideA short guide that matches fastener to wall, whether brick, concrete, hollow block, drywall or wood, and links to the products.
- Starter assortment kitsHome kits, such as screws and wall plugs for a first flat, and a fabricator's assortment, to lift the order beyond a single small pack.
- Wholesale price list requestA form for dealers and OEM buyers that takes sizes, grades, quantity and delivery location, and sends a code-wise price sheet.
- Marketplace pack listingsTitles with size and pack count for the retail packs on Amazon and Flipkart, reviewed against return reasons.
What we do
What you get for fasteners.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A fastener size table
Every size, grade and finish by row, in a table a buyer or search engine can read. It replaces a long list of near-identical titles.
A material choice guide
Plain notes on zinc, stainless and brass and where each suits. It prevents the rust complaint and shows you know the product.
Scale photographs
A brief for photographing each type against a ruler or coin. It answers 'how long is it' before the buyer asks.
A dealer price-sheet request
The form and the reply with the code-wise price list. It brings trade buyers into your records instead of your phone.

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Free audit call
90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.
After the call
Written, scored report
Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
What we need from you
What to have ready before the audit call.
None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.
- Complete size list with grade, finish and pack count
- Which sizes sell in volume and which sit in the godown
- Return and complaint reasons for the retail packs
- Test or grade certificates for stainless and high-tensile lines, if you have them
- Names of regular trade buyers and what they reorder
Selling in India and abroad
Selling fasteners beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Metric against imperial threads
A metric bolt will not fit an imperial nut. Overseas buyers, especially in North America, expect inch sizes and thread standards that differ from yours. Name the standard on each listing.
Weight and minimum quantity
Fasteners are heavy and sold by large quantity abroad. Sample packs help, but overseas trade buyers think in cartons and containers, and your forwarder gives the logistics.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency
