GullySales

E-commerce · Industrial Equipment & Supplies

The warehouse manager needs a stacker by the end of the month and has two quotes already.

Material handling purchases come from a floor problem: pallets stacked too high by hand, a loading dock with no ramp, a stores area that has run out of space. The buyer is a warehouse or stores manager, usually buying against a budget with an approver above them.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Material handling e-commerce is selling pallet trucks, stackers, forklifts, trolleys, racking and conveyors to warehouses and factories that need them for a floor layout. GullySales builds pages around load capacity and lift height, and makes the quotation request ask for the site details that decide the right product.

They compare capacity, lift height and price across a handful of sellers, and rarely know which model suits. The seller who asks the right questions first gets the order.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell material handling online.

  • Sellers of hand pallet trucks, stackers and platform trolleys to warehouses and factories
  • Forklift and reach truck dealers, new and used, with a rental side
  • Racking and shelving suppliers who survey the site and quote by layout
  • Conveyor and dock equipment makers selling to logistics and packaging units

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Sellers whose stock is mostly imported and unpriced until the order is placed. Buyers will not wait for that.
  • Businesses that sell only through a large retailer's trade desk. The enquiry never reaches your website.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of material handling.

  1. Capacity, lift height and the floor

A buyer asks what load it takes in kilograms, how high it lifts, the fork length and the pallet size. They also ask whether their floor and aisle width suit the machine.

  2. Electric, manual or diesel

Battery type, charging time and indoor use decide between a manual stacker and an electric one. Pages should say what each is for and not leave the buyer guessing.

  3. Buy, rent or buy used

A growing warehouse often rents first. Forklift buyers ask about hire, second-hand units and whether service comes with the machine.

  4. The site survey

For racking and conveyors, no quote is final until someone has measured the space. The buyer wants to know if the survey is free and how soon it is arranged.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell material handling online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “Enquiries ask for a stacker and don't say which one”

A request for a stacker could mean a one-tonne manual unit or a three-tonne electric one. Without the load and the lift height, a quote is a guess.

  • “Racking buyers compare us with the local fabricator”

A local welder quotes lower and does not ask about load per level. A page that explains beam load ratings and safe stacking makes the difference visible.

  • “Rental and sale enquiries get mixed up”

A forklift hire enquiry answered with a purchase quote wastes both sides. Two clear routes in the form fix that.

  • “Repeat buyers order trolleys and wheels from whoever answers”

Small accessories like castors, pallet truck wheels and batteries are bought again and again. If your listing is hard to find, they go to the nearest dealer.

The scope

The work we would propose for material handling.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up, orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for material handling.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A load and lift selector

A simple table or form that turns the buyer's load and height into a model. It stops quotations for the wrong size.

  2. A racking layout request sheet

A one-page form for bay size, load per level and aisle width. Your surveyor arrives knowing what to measure.

  3. A rental terms page

What hire covers, who maintains the machine and what the buyer pays for. It cuts the first three calls.

  4. A safety and load rating explainer

Plain notes on rated capacity and why overloading a stacker is a problem. It shows the buyer you know what you sell.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified enquiries
  • Quotation requests
  • Follow-up on each quotation
  • Orders won
  • Repeat orders
  • Rental enquiries against sale enquiries

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Product list with rated load, lift height and dimensions
  • Brochures and photographs of installed racking or conveyors
  • Rental rates structure, as terms rather than a price list
  • Past quotations that turned into orders
  • A list of repeat buyers and what they reorder

Selling in India and abroad

Selling material handling beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. Pallet sizes differ

Indian, European and American pallets have different dimensions, so fork length matters. Pages for overseas buyers state which sizes the equipment takes.

  2. Shipping bulky goods

Racking and conveyors are heavy and cube out containers. Buyers abroad ask about packing and loading, so your logistics partner should be part of the quote.

FAQ

Questions about selling material handling online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I tell a buyer which stacker they need without visiting?
Ask for four things: the heaviest pallet, the highest shelf, the aisle width and whether it will run indoors. Then recommend one model. A form on the page collects these before the call.
Should I show forklift prices online?
Show a range for the common capacities if you can. New forklift prices change with specification and brand, so a starting range is more honest than a fixed number. For spare items like wheels, list the price.
Can we sell racking online at all?
You can sell the enquiry, not the rack. The buyer sends the dimensions and load, you survey if needed, then quote. The website's job is to get that request, not to take payment.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
