E-commerce · Industrial Equipment & Supplies

The buyer has the old part in their hand and a part number half rubbed off.

A component buyer is in the middle of a repair or a production run. They need a particular bearing or hydraulic hose, in a specific size, and they need to know today whether you have it. If your listing does not show that number, they never see you.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Industrial components are the parts that go inside machines and plants: bearings, seals, valves, fittings, fasteners, gears, motors and the like. GullySales builds a findable page for each part family by part number, size and material, and a quotation route that handles a long list of items at once.

The catalogue may run to thousands of lines, which is both the strength and the problem. Each line is a small sale. Fitting it into pages that rank and a form that can price a bundle is the work.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell industrial components online.

  • Bearing, seal and gasket stockists serving local factories and workshops
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fitting, hose and valve suppliers
  • Fastener, spring and precision-turned part makers who take repeat orders
  • Gearbox, coupling and motor dealers who need a buyer to confirm the exact frame
  • Component manufacturers supplying OEMs on a drawing

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Suppliers who stock only a handful of items and sell all of them by phone to the same buyers. Your own list is enough.
  • Makers working only on OEM drawings under confidentiality. There is little to publish.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of industrial components.

  1. Part number or nothing

The search is a code printed on the part. Buyers type 6205 or a hose size. They also search by dimensions: bore, outer diameter and width.

  2. Brand, equivalent or unbranded

A buyer asks whether it is the original brand or an equivalent that fits. A cross-reference table lets them find your part from a competitor's number.

  3. Material, grade and certificate

For fasteners, valves and fittings, the buyer checks grade, material, thread and finish. A purchaser for a large plant may ask for a test certificate with the batch.

  4. Quantity and price slabs

Price per piece falls with quantity, and a plant often buys a dozen different items together. They want to send one list and get one quotation.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell industrial components online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “Our catalogue has thousands of parts and no pages for them”

A spreadsheet is no use to a search engine. Page templates built from your own data can turn it into pages that match part numbers.

  • “Buyers want stock status and we cannot show it”

A part that is out of stock but listed as available loses the buyer's trust. A simple in stock, on order or ask tag is better than silence.

  • “We lose to the brand-name dealer who is cheaper by a rupee”

When two sellers hold the same part, speed and a complete reply decide. A quote that carries delivery time, brand and GST is picked ahead of a bare price.

  • “Buyers send a list on WhatsApp and nobody prices it fast”

A photo of ten parts on a notepad is a real order. It needs one person who reads it, prices it and replies the same day.

What we do

What you get for industrial components.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A part-number cross-reference table

Your numbers matched to competitor and OEM numbers. It brings in buyers who start with someone else's code.

  2. A page template for each part family

Bearings, fittings, valves and fasteners each get a layout with their own specification fields, so none carries a size table that does not apply.

  3. A bulk quotation form

A list entry that your desk can price in one pass. It replaces a day of phone calls.

  4. A test certificate request step

A tick box for a material test certificate, which tells your desk what to attach and flags the buyer as a serious plant purchaser.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified enquiries
  • Quotation requests
  • Follow-up on each quotation
  • Orders won
  • Repeat orders
  • Enquiries that arrive with a part number

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your product list as a spreadsheet, with part numbers and sizes
  • Brand authorisations or agency letters you hold
  • Your best-selling twenty parts and their usual buyers
  • A sample of WhatsApp lists buyers have sent you
  • Existing IndiaMART listings and the lead history

Selling in India and abroad

Selling industrial components beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. Metric against inch

Bearings, threads and hose sizes follow different standards in different markets. Pages for overseas buyers show both dimension systems where they apply.

  2. Sample orders first

A foreign importer of components usually starts with a trial consignment. The page should explain minimum quantity, packing and sample terms.

FAQ

Questions about selling industrial components online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How can I list thousands of parts without writing thousands of pages?
Build page templates from your own spreadsheet, one for each part family. Each part still needs its own number and size on the page. We start with the families that sell most and add others after.
Should I show prices on component pages?
For standard, fast-moving parts, yes, with a note that GST and freight are extra. For items that vary with quantity or brand, ask for a quotation. A page with a price that is out of date does more harm than none.
Can I sell equivalents of branded parts?
You can list equivalents if you describe them as equivalents and do not use the brand's name as your own. What you may say about a brand is for your adviser to confirm. Buyers do search by the brand's number.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
