E-commerce · Plumbing & Bathroom Products
The tap is the one thing in the bathroom the family touches every hour, and the review says it drips.
A tap is judged by touch and by time. The family notices the handle in the showroom and the drip a year later. The plumber notices the thread, the hole size and the cartridge at the counter, and recommends what the plumber knows will not come back as a complaint.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Taps are the basin mixers, pillar cocks, bib cocks, kitchen sink taps and wall mixers that control water at a basin, sink or wall, chosen for how they look and checked for how they fit. GullySales shows the cartridge, body and finish, answers the hole and thread questions before purchase, and sells to the homeowner and to the plumber who fits it.
So price comparisons on taps hide a lot. Two chrome taps that look the same differ in the valve, the body and the plating, and the cheaper one is the one that drips.

Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell taps online.
- Brands and makers of basin taps, kitchen taps and wall mixers
- Dealers who supply plumbers and interior designers with taps in matching finishes
- Sellers of spares: cartridges, aerators, washers and tap tails
- Importers of designer and sensor taps selling on finish and style
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Sellers who cannot state what the tap body is made of. Buyers read reviews about drips and ask first.
- A business that wants to claim a plating will never fade. We will describe the finish and its care instead.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of taps.
Body material and cartridge
Brass, stainless steel and zinc bodies behave differently over years. A ceramic cartridge against an older washer type decides how long before a drip. Plumbers ask for both.
Where it is mounted
A basin tap sits on a counter hole, a wall mixer on pipes in the wall, a kitchen tap on the sink or counter. The buyer counts holes, checks height and spout reach, and measures the sink they have.
Finish and matching the set
Chrome, matte black, brushed gold and brushed steel. Buyers want the shower, accessories and tap in one finish, and look for a range, not a single tap.
Thread, connection and pressure
A tap has an inlet thread and often comes with flexible hoses of a fixed length. Buyers ask whether the hoses are included and if it suits low pressure from an overhead tank.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell taps online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“The tap drips after a few months and the buyer blames us”
The cartridge was the cheap part. Naming its type on the page, and offering spares, is what separates a product with a drip story from one without.
“Customers order a tap that does not suit their sink”
Hole count, spout height and reach do not show in a photograph. A diagram with measurements above the buy button avoids a trip back.
“Buyers ask whether the hoses are in the box”
Inlet hoses are included with some taps and not with others. The box contents belong beside the price, since the buyer has a plumber waiting.
“Designers specify a finish and we show it only on white”
A matte black or a brushed gold looks different on a plain white shot. Without a real bathroom image, the designer picks a brand with a better picture.
The scope
The work we would propose for taps.
Measured on purchases and, for trade buyers, qualified enquiries, quotation requests and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- Cartridge, body and finish detailsBody material, cartridge type, finish and what is in the box listed on each tap page, in the order a buyer asks.
- Finish photography in a bathroomTaps photographed at a basin in daylight, in every finish, with the same basin throughout so finishes can be compared.
- Spares and cartridges listingReplacement cartridges, aerators and hoses linked from each tap page. A buyer who needs a spare years later finds you and the tap sale gains a second life.
- Marketplace listingsTitles and images for Amazon and Flipkart with the finish, mounting type and box contents. We review them against review text about drips and fit.
Mounting and measurement drawings
A dimension drawing for each tap with spout height, reach, hole size and inlet thread. Made from the maker's sheet and checked by your team.
What we do
What you get for taps.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A dimension drawing for each tap
Spout, reach, hole size and thread in one drawing. It prevents the mismatch that comes back.
A 'what is in the box' panel
A fixed block listing hoses, fixings and cartridges. It ends the argument about missing parts.
A finish and care guide
Each finish with how to clean it and what to avoid. It reduces the fading and spotting complaints.
A spares page
Cartridges and fittings listed by tap model. It keeps the repair buyer with you.

What we need from you
What to have ready before the audit call.
None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

- The maker's dimension sheets and instructions
- Photographs in real bathrooms, if available
- Review and return text mentioning drips or fit
- Plumbers and designers who buy from you repeatedly
Selling in India and abroad
Selling taps beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Connections differ
Tap inlets, hole sizes and the way hoses connect differ by country, as does the water supply. A tap made for Indian plumbing may need adaptors elsewhere, so state the connection and check the market.
Fragile finishes in transit
Plated finishes scratch in the box. Packing for overseas shipping is a cost and a risk, to be agreed with your forwarder before listing.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
