E-commerce · Safety & PPE
Four hundred coveralls, six sizes, and the contractor needs them before the next batch of workers joins.
Protective clothing is bought in counts: a gang of two hundred welders, a night shift of loaders, a contractor who has just won a site. The order is a size list and a date, and a mismatch in either is visible within a day when workers stand in the wrong size.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Protective clothing e-commerce is the selling of coveralls, high-visibility vests and jackets, aprons, welding clothing and workwear to factories, contractors and utilities. GullySales builds pages around fabric, colour, sizes and the job, and handles the size-run quotation and the logo and name-tag requests that decide the order.
The garment is also a uniform. The buyer wants the company name embroidered, a colour that matches the site's scheme, and a replacement set when the first wears out.

Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell protective clothing online.
- Manufacturers of coveralls, workwear and uniforms who add safety ranges
- Suppliers of high-visibility vests, jackets and reflective clothing
- Sellers of welding aprons, jackets and heat-resistant garments
- Distributors who supply chemical-handling aprons and suits to plants
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Sellers who cannot show the maker's statement of what a garment is made for. A page cannot add that claim on its own.
- Workwear sellers with no size run beyond small, medium and large. A plant's workforce needs a wider spread than that.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of protective clothing.
Fabric, weight and colour
Buyers ask about fabric blend and weight in GSM, because a coverall that is too heavy is worn open in summer and one that is too light tears at the knee. Colour matters for visibility and for the company's look.
High-visibility and reflective features
A site that works at night or near moving vehicles asks for a vest or jacket with the colour and reflective tape the maker states. A page should show the garment on a person and name the tape.
Logo, name and department
A contractor orders with the company name on the back and each worker's name on the front. Minimum quantity, proof and delivery time for printed or embroidered garments are among the first questions.
Wash and replacement
A set is washed repeatedly. Buyers want to know how the fabric and the tape survive washing, and whether the same garment can be reordered next year.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell protective clothing online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“We deliver the right count and the wrong sizes”
A size list taken by phone drifts. A sheet that records each worker's chest and height, or a standard size chart with a fitting day, ends the exchange of garments afterwards.
“The contractor asks for the logo and then changes the design”
A proof stage that the buyer signs, with the artwork and placement shown, stops a batch being embroidered wrongly.
“Our cheaper coverall competes with the imported one on price alone”
Weight, stitching, closures and wash behaviour are what a plant sees after three months. Photographs of seams and fabric swatches let the buyer see them before ordering.
“Seasonal buyers go quiet between projects”
A contractor orders when a project is won. Records of which contractors bought and when let you call at the start of the next tender season.
The scope
The work we would propose for protective clothing.
Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up, orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- Garment pages by jobPages for coveralls, hi-vis wear, aprons and welding clothing, each with fabric, weight, sizes, colours, closures and the work it is meant for, as the maker describes it.
- A size-run and logo requestA form that takes the garment, the number of people, sizes, logo artwork and the date the batch must be ready.
- Sample garments and follow-upA sample in two or three sizes sent to the safety officer, with a call set for the day after trial and the decision noted.
- Contractor outreachA list of construction, utility and manufacturing contractors in your area who recruit crews, approached before the workers join.
- Replacement and top-up remindersA record of each contractor's garments and sizes so that new joiners and worn sets are supplied from one sheet.
What we do
What you get for protective clothing.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A size chart with worker measurements
Chest, waist and length for each size, with a guide on how to measure a worker. It reduces exchanges after delivery.
A logo and name-tag proof sheet
A signed layout of the company name, placement and colours. It protects the buyer and you before a batch is embroidered.
A fabric and construction note
Blend, GSM, stitching and closures for each garment, in plain words. It gives the buyer something to compare beyond the rate.
A contractor reorder sheet
Sizes by worker and the date of the last supply. New joiners are added to it and the next order starts from there.
How the result is measured
- Qualified enquiries
- Quotation requests
- Sample requests
- Follow-up on each quotation
- Orders won
- Repeat orders and new-joiner top-ups
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Selling in India and abroad
Selling protective clothing beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Sizing differs by region
A buyer in another country expects the size chart of their market. State measurements in centimetres and give the size each measurement maps to.
Colour and visibility rules are local
What a site must wear for visibility is set by the buyer's own rules. The page shows the colour and tape you supply and leaves the requirement to the buyer.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
