CBSE schools · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a parent searches for a CBSE school near the new address.

Local SEO for a CBSE school is the work of appearing in map results and nearby searches for the localities your school serves. GullySales sets up and maintains the Google listing, the photographs and the replies that parents read before they ring.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For CBSE schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The map result is the first impression”

A parent reads the listing name, photographs, address and reviews before opening the website. A bare listing with a logo and no classroom photographs looks unfinished beside the school down the road.

  • “Transferred families search before they arrive”

They type a locality they have never visited. The listing and the locality pages must say how far the school is, which routes the buses cover and who to ask for.

  • “Review replies are read by the next parent”

A calm, factual reply to a complaint about transport or fees shows the school at work. A missing reply reads as indifference, and parents of Class 1 children notice.

  • “Wrong details cost visits”

An old phone number, a changed gate or a wrong visiting time sends a family to the wrong place. The listing needs one owner who updates it when anything changes.

What we do

What we deliver for CBSE schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google listing set-up and clean-up

Correct name, listing type, address, phone, timings and a visit-booking link, checked against the school's own records.

Result: A listing whose details match the school office.

  2. Campus photograph set

Photographs of classrooms, labs, library, grounds and bus bay, taken with the management's permission and with no children identifiable unless the school has consent.

Result: A listing with current campus photographs.

  3. Locality pages and nearby wording

Pages and listing text that name the areas, apartment clusters and landmarks the school serves.

Result: Pages that match how parents describe where they live.

  4. Review reply routine

A short guide for who replies, in what tone and what is never discussed in public, such as a child's record.

Result: A reply guide the office can follow.

  5. Listing checks at each admission year

Hours, contact and visit slots reviewed before registration opens.

Result: A dated checklist signed off by the office.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these CBSE schools.

  • Day schools with classes from nursery to Class 12
  • CBSE schools running Class 1 to 10 only
  • Schools run by a trust, society or educational group
  • Private unaided CBSE schools in city suburbs
  • CBSE schools attached to a residential campus
  • Schools serving transferred central government, defence or corporate families
  • New CBSE schools in their first affiliated years
  • Schools that run exam-preparation classes in Class 11 and 12

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask parents to write reviews?
Yes, by a simple polite request. Do not offer gifts or reward reviews, and do not pressure a family. Advertising and review rules differ by state and platform, so check the current rules.
Do we need a separate listing for each section?
One listing per campus is the starting point. If a branch has its own address and phone, it needs its own. Check the platform's current rules on duplicates.
Who should manage the listing?
Someone in the office with a fixed role, not a changing coordinator. We set it up and write down the steps, so the knowledge stays with the school.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
