ICSE schools · Local SEO

Show up when a parent searches for an ICSE school near their home.

Local SEO for an ICSE school is the work on your map listing, reviews and locality pages so that families nearby can find and reach the school. GullySales corrects the listing and builds the pages parents use to judge distance, route and gate timing.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For ICSE schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Distance decides the shortlist before the board does”

A parent who wants ICSE still counts the bus ride. If your school does not appear on the map for the neighbourhoods you serve, the family never reaches the page that explains your teaching.

  • “A listing with an old phone number loses the call”

Schools change office numbers, move gates and rename wings. If the map listing still shows the old number or a closed entrance, the visiting parent stands at the wrong gate and the impression is set.

  • “Parents read reviews for how the office behaves”

A review about a rude front desk or an unanswered call weighs as much as one about teaching. A school that does not read its reviews cannot reply to them, and the next parent sees the silence.

  • “Bus routes are a selling point few schools write down”

A parent in a locality wants to know whether the school's transport reaches their lane. A page listing the localities served and the pickup arrangement answers a question that no brochure does.

What we do

What we deliver for ICSE schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A corrected Google listing

Name, address, phone, hours, entrance and photographs checked and brought up to date.

Result: The listing matches the school's own website line for line.

  2. Locality pages

A page for each neighbourhood you draw families from, with the route, the nearby landmarks and the bus arrangement.

Result: A parent in each locality finds a page that names their area.

  3. A review routine

A short process for asking parents who agree to leave a review, and for replying to every review politely.

Result: Every review has a reply from a named person at the school.

  4. A visit page with directions

A page showing the gate for visitors, parking, the office hours and how to book a campus visit.

Result: A visiting parent reaches the right gate and the right person.

  5. Consistent school details

One set of name, address and phone used on the listing, the website and the directories parents consult.

Result: The details do not differ from one site to the next.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these ICSE schools.

  • Long-established ICSE day schools run by a society or a church
  • ICSE schools with ISC classes for Class 11 and 12
  • ICSE schools for boys or for girls only
  • ICSE residential and boarding schools
  • Newer private ICSE schools in growing suburbs
  • ICSE schools run by a community trust
  • ICSE schools attached to a larger educational group
  • ICSE schools with a strong sports or arts programme

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask parents for reviews?
Yes, ask those who are willing and never offer a reward. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check the wording with your own management or adviser.
Our school has several gates. Which goes on the listing?
The one visitors should use, with a note on the others on the website. The listing should lead a parent to the office, not to a staff or bus gate.
Do we need locality pages if we are well known?
A newcomer to the city has not heard the name, and searches by area. A page for each locality reaches that family when the well-known name means nothing to them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
