ICSE schools · Social media

Show parents the school day, so the ICSE name comes with a face and a classroom.

Social media marketing for an ICSE school is the steady sharing of classroom, event and campus moments with parents and alumni. GullySales plans what to post, who approves it and how a comment becomes an admissions conversation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For ICSE schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Photographs of children need a clear rule”

A school post with a child's face involves consent from the family. A written rule on which events may be photographed, and which families have declined, protects the child and the school before a post goes out.

  • “Alumni are the audience that shares”

A former student posts a photo from the old assembly hall and the comments fill with classmates. That attention reaches future parents faster than a paid post, if the school page is active when it happens.

  • “A post about results needs care”

Marks and ranks are shared in a rush after results. Each figure needs the year and the number of students who sat the examination, or the post is better left out. Photographs of project work say more and carry no risk.

  • “Comments and messages go unanswered”

A parent who comments to ask about Class 1 seats and hears nothing moves on. A named person at the office needs to read the page and reply, or hand the question to admissions.

What we do

What we deliver for ICSE schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan from school life

Ideas drawn from assemblies, science fairs, library hours, sports and arts, with a list of what each teacher can supply.

Result: The school has a bank of post ideas tied to real events.

  2. A photo and consent routine

A form and a rule about which students may appear, kept by the office.

Result: Every posted photograph can be traced to a consent on file.

  3. Alumni features

Short features on former students who agree to be named, with their wording approved by them.

Result: Each alumni post carries the person's own approval.

  4. Admissions-linked posts

Posts that point to the admissions page for each entry class, with the date of the campus visit.

Result: A parent who likes a post can reach the admissions page in one tap.

  5. A reply routine

A named person, a set of replies for common questions and a handover to admissions for serious ones.

Result: Comments and messages reach someone with the authority to answer.

  6. Platform choice

A decision on which platform parents in your area use, so effort is not spread over every network.

Result: The school keeps up two platforms rather than starting five.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these ICSE schools.

  • Long-established ICSE day schools run by a society or a church
  • ICSE schools with ISC classes for Class 11 and 12
  • ICSE schools for boys or for girls only
  • ICSE residential and boarding schools
  • Newer private ICSE schools in growing suburbs
  • ICSE schools run by a community trust
  • ICSE schools attached to a larger educational group
  • ICSE schools with a strong sports or arts programme

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the school run paid posts?
Only after the organic page is active and the admissions page is ready to receive visitors. Check the platform's current rules for education advertising before you begin.
Can teachers post from their own accounts?
Set a clear policy first. Staff accounts that show students can carry risks for the child and the school, so agree the rules with management and cover them in writing.
How do we handle a negative comment?
Reply politely and in public with an offer to talk by phone, then take the detail offline. Delete only abuse. A calm reply is read by every parent who sees the thread.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step
