Management colleges · WhatsApp marketing

Answer a candidate on the app the family already has open.

WhatsApp marketing for a management college means using the app for permitted conversations: replying to enquiries, confirming interview slots and sending programme details to candidates who asked. GullySales sets up the account, the templates and the hand-off to admissions, inside the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For management colleges

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Families reply on WhatsApp before they pick up a call”

A candidate in a lecture, or a parent at work, ignores an unknown number but answers a message. A first reply on WhatsApp, with the programme page and an interview slot, reaches the family where they are.

  • “Opt-in is the foundation”

Message only candidates who asked to hear from you, and record when and how they asked. Check the platform's current rules and your own adviser on consent. Adding people to groups or broadcast lists without asking harms the college's name.

  • “A brochure sent as a file is rarely read”

A large PDF on a slow connection stays unopened. A short message with the fee, eligibility and a link to the programme page gets read, and the full brochure can follow for the candidate who asks for more detail.

  • “Two phones, one history”

When counsellors use personal phones, the conversation leaves with the person. A shared business account, or the official business interface, keeps the history with the college and lets a colleague pick up the thread. The consent record should stay attached to the number, whoever holds the phone.

What we do

What we deliver for management colleges.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business setup

The business profile, greeting, away message and quick replies are set up with the college's name, address and programmes.

Result: The first message a candidate sees is the college's own.

  2. Approved message templates

Templates for enquiry reply, slot confirmation, reminder and document request are written and submitted under the platform's rules.

Result: Callers send consistent, approved wording.

  3. An opt-in capture on forms and ads

Forms and click-to-chat links record the candidate's permission, the time and the source.

Result: Every WhatsApp contact has a record of consent.

  4. A hand-off rule between bot and person

Common questions are answered with set replies, and anything about fee, funding or approvals goes to a named counsellor.

Result: No candidate is stuck in an automated loop.

  5. A conversation log connected to the CRM

Messages are tied to the candidate's record, with the stage updated after each exchange.

Result: Admissions can read the full history of any candidate.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these management colleges.

  • PGDM institutes run by a trust
  • MBA departments inside a university
  • Autonomous business schools attached to an engineering college
  • BBA and BMS colleges feeding into an MBA
  • Executive and weekend MBA programmes for working professionals
  • Colleges with specialisations in HR, finance, marketing or business analytics
  • Business schools with a strong family-business or entrepreneurship stream
  • Newer management colleges still building a recruiter list

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we send bulk messages to our enquiry list?
Only to people who agreed to receive them, and inside the platform's current rules on templates and business messaging. Check these before each campaign, and keep an unsubscribe route.
Should counsellors use their own numbers?
No. A shared business account keeps the history with the college when a counsellor leaves, and it lets you set hours, greetings and templates that apply to everyone.
What should we never send on WhatsApp?
Avoid sending ranking claims, placement figures without a source, or promises about a job. Anything on fee or approvals should come from your office in the form it has confirmed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
