PTE training centres · Buyer persona

Know the applicant, the parent and the agent before writing a single ad.

A buyer persona for a PTE centre is a written profile of the people who decide on a batch: the applicant, the family and the referring agent. GullySales builds the profiles from your enquiry records and from conversations with your counsellors and trainers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For PTE training centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The final-year student holds an offer letter”

This applicant has a university, a score target and an intake date. The question is whether the centre can close a gap in time, and the parents want the plan explained plainly. Counsellors speak to the applicant and the family differently.

  • “The working professional is counting points”

A nurse or engineer applying for migration needs a score for the points calculation, studies around a job and asks about evening and weekend batches. A retake costs time they do not have. Evening batches and clear notice of the timetable carry the decision for this buyer.

  • “The study abroad consultant is a buyer too”

A consultant chooses which centre to send students to, and chooses on how the centre treats the student and the consultant alike. A student who is kept informed makes the consultant look good. The persona records what the consultant needs to hear and when.

  • “The repeat applicant carries a bruise”

A student who missed the target once is wary. They ask what went wrong and whether the next batch changes anything. The persona records that this person needs a diagnosis before a discount. Counsellors can use that note to open the call well.

What we do

What we deliver for PTE training centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Written personas for each buyer

One page per buyer type listing what they ask, what worries them and what makes them say yes.

Result: Counsellors can read a persona before a call.

  2. A question bank from real enquiries

The questions applicants asked on calls and WhatsApp, grouped by persona and answered in plain words.

Result: Each common question has an agreed answer.

  3. A map of the decision path

A sketch of where each persona first meets the centre and who else joins the decision.

Result: The sketch shows who the centre must speak to besides the applicant.

  4. Messages matched to each persona

Short opening messages and ad lines written for each profile.

Result: An ad or message states the problem the persona has.

  5. A persona review after real enquiries

A check of the personas against fresh enquiry records, with edits where they differ.

Result: The profiles are corrected after a fresh read of enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do you build personas without invented data?
From your own records and your team. We read enquiry notes, listen to counsellor calls where you allow it, and ask trainers who joins and why. Nothing is borrowed from generic studies.
Do we need a persona for the parent?
Yes, where parents pay or approve. A parent asks about safety, fees and what the batch will do, not about scoring. A page or message written for that reader answers the questions the applicant never raises.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
