State board schools · Digital marketing

Use a few online channels well, in the languages your families read.

Digital marketing for a state board school means the school's site, listing, messages and any paid adverts working together so that a parent can find the school, read the answer and make contact. GullySales sets out which channels are worth the school's time and the order in which to build them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For state board schools

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A school does not need every channel”

A district-town school has a limited office and a limited budget. The listing, a simple site and a WhatsApp number come first. Adverts and video follow only if the first three are in good order.

  • “Online and the gate must say the same thing”

A site that states one fee heading and a notice board that states another costs the school trust. Before anything goes online, the office agrees one set of facts and prints it on both.

  • “Paid adverts need a destination”

An advert that sends a parent to a home page with no admissions information wastes the spend. If the school does run adverts, they should point to the admissions page and to a number that is answered.

  • “Digital reach is uneven across families”

Some families in the villages have a shared phone and little time online. A leaflet, a wall painting and a talk at a local meeting still matter, and the digital plan should sit beside them, not replace them.

What we do

What we deliver for state board schools.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel order of priority

A short plan naming which channel the school builds first, second and third, with reasons.

Result: The management has one page to approve before spending.

  2. A single source of facts

A one-page sheet of dates, fee headings, timings and contacts that every channel copies from.

Result: The site, listing, card and messages show matching details.

  3. An advert plan, if wanted

Where the school chooses to advertise, the audience, the wording and the landing page, set against a budget the management has agreed.

Result: Each advert points to a page that answers the parent.

  4. A print and digital pairing

Leaflets and boards that carry the same contact as the online listing.

Result: A parent who sees the leaflet and the listing meets the same number.

  5. A simple count of results

A sheet recording enquiries by source, so the school sees which channels brought families.

Result: At season end the school can read which source brought each admission.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What budget do we need?
That depends on what your management is willing to spend. The listing, the site and the number cost little, and we size the plan to what the school can sustain.
Will adverts bring admissions?
They bring enquiries if the page and the office are ready. No one can promise admissions, because the family's decision depends on much more than an advert.
Do advertising rules apply to schools?
They do, and they differ by state. Check the wording of any advert with your management or a legal adviser, and check the platform's current rules.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
