Electrical contractors · Lead generation

Getting onto the bid list happens months before the BOQ.

Lead generation for an electrical contractor is being on the list when a BOQ goes out, and chasing the estimates already sent. GullySales builds the consultant and builder list, logs every estimate with a follow-up date, and tracks the renewal and tender dates you can find out.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For electrical contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A BOQ is not a lead, it is a shortlist you were already on

By the time the drawings arrive, the decision about who gets asked was taken months earlier in a conversation nobody recorded.

  • The estimate you never chased is the biggest loss

Two evenings of pricing go out and nothing comes back, and the next sign is another contractor's van parked at the site.

  • An AMC renewal has a date on it

Apartment associations and facility managers renew electrical maintenance contracts in a known month, and almost nobody asks them before it comes round.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A builder, consultant and architect list

Every firm that has sent work or could, with the person's name, what they have seen you do and the date you last spoke to them.

Result: You notice a source going quiet before the work goes elsewhere.

  2. An estimate log with a follow-up date and a loss reason

Every BOQ and estimate recorded with the value, the date to call about it and, when lost, the reason you were given.

Result: The reason a job went elsewhere stops being a guess.

  3. An AMC and shutdown calendar

Renewal months for apartment and building maintenance contracts, and the planned shutdown windows at nearby factories, each with a person to approach.

Result: You ask before the contract is renewed without you.

  4. Tender and enlistment tracking

The tenders open for your licence class, with documents and enlistment renewals kept current so nothing is missed on a deadline.

Result: You stop finding out about a tender after it closes.

  5. Homeowner enquiry capture

A form and phone routine taking the property type, the age of the wiring and the load being added, so a site visit is judged before it happens.

Result: Site visits stop going on enquiries you would decline.

  6. Value by source reported monthly

Estimates sent, orders won and value by builder, consultant, tender and homeowner, read against the baseline taken before the work started.

Result: You can see what one client's slowdown would cost.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

How the work runs for electrical contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your last two years of work came from, how many estimates turned into jobs, and how much depends on one or two builders.

  2. 2

    Fix the estimate follow-up

A log for every BOQ and estimate, a follow-up call schedule and a record of why jobs are lost.

  3. 3

    Build the proof

Project records with approvals and photographs, a company profile and a list of references who will take a call.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

Consultant and builder outreach, factory and facility manager contact, and local search for home jobs.

  5. 5

    Keep them sending work

Regular contact with every builder and consultant who has sent a job, and a thank-you when a project closes.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We have never kept a list. Where do we start?
With the last two years of invoices. Every job on them came from somebody, and that somebody is the list. It usually fits on two sheets, and half of it has not been called in a year.
How often should we call a consultant who has sent us nothing?
Every couple of months, with something to say: a project finished, an approval obtained, a photograph of a panel room. A call with no news is the one that stops being taken. Consultants send work to the firm they last saw doing it.
Can marketing help a contractor who gets all work through contacts?
Yes, by adding contacts on purpose rather than by chance. Most of the work is a written list of builders and consultants and a call to each one every few months. Local search then catches the homeowners who need rewiring.
How do we show consultants we can handle HT and approval work?
With documented projects. A short record of each transformer, substation or HT job, with the approvals obtained and photographs of the installation, changes what a consultant sends you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
