Finance and insurance advisers · Email marketing

A renewal notice with the policy number is the mail that gets opened.

Email for an adviser is a second channel behind WhatsApp, and it earns its place on renewals, statements and the papers a customer has to keep. GullySales sets the renewal and review schedule, writes the mail a customer will actually file, and reports on policies retained.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For finance and insurance advisers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Most of your book does not read email

A two-wheeler loan customer will never open one. A salaried policyholder with a work address will. Split the list on that and nothing else.

  • A renewal mail without the premium is useless

The rival agent leads with a number, so yours has to carry the policy number, the due date and the premium quoted.

  • The annual review mail opens the cross-sell

A customer who took a vehicle loan two years ago has no idea you also do health cover, and a statement of what they hold starts that.

What we do

What we deliver for finance and insurance advisers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Renewal mails carrying number, date and premium

A message ahead of each motor and health due date showing the policy number, the date and the premium already quoted.

Result: The customer does not have to ask what it costs.

  2. An annual statement of everything held

One mail a year listing the policies, loans and dates a customer has with you, with whatever falls due next.

Result: A customer sees the gap without being sold to.

  3. The list split by who reads email at all

Customers with a work or business address kept apart from the ones who only use WhatsApp, so effort goes where it lands.

Result: You stop writing to people who never open it.

  4. A tax-season note in the right quarter

A reminder about cover and investment decisions ahead of the March deadline, sent only to the customers it applies to.

Result: You are in the inbox while people are deciding.

  5. A document request that keeps a file moving

A mail listing exactly what is still outstanding on a sanctioned file, with the deadline the lender has set on it.

Result: Files stop stalling on one missing paper.

  6. Renewals and replies reported monthly

Mails sent, replies, renewals retained and cross-sell conversations opened, read against the retention figures recorded at the start.

Result: Email is judged on policies kept.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for finance and insurance advisers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how fast you reply to a loan or premium enquiry, where renewal dates are tracked, and which product line last month's enquiries actually came from.

  2. 2

Fix the reply and the record

A missed-call and WhatsApp routine for enquiries, and one place where every enquiry, quote and renewal date is recorded.

  3. 3

    Build product pages

A page for each product you want more of, for example business loans or family health insurance, answering the questions a customer actually asks in plain language.

  4. 4

    Bring the enquiries in

Search visibility for the product searches already happening, Google Ads for the product you want filled this month, and referral asks to existing customers at renewal.

  5. 5

    Keep the book

Renewal reminders thirty days out, a cross-sell prompt when a customer's situation changes, and a referral ask after a claim is settled well.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our customers live on WhatsApp. Is email worth it?
For part of the book. A salaried policyholder files the renewal mail and finds it a year later, which WhatsApp does not do. A two-wheeler loan customer will never open one. Split the list and stop sending to the second group.
What goes in a renewal email?
The policy number, the due date, the premium and what changes if the policy lapses. Nothing else. The rival agent is sending a number, so yours has to carry one, cleared with your principal.
How is marketing for a finance or insurance business different?
The customer is buying trust and paperwork rather than something they can see, so reply speed and a plain explanation of terms matter more than the offer. We build the follow-up around that, not around discount messaging.
Do I need to advertise for loan or insurance enquiries?
Ads help when you need a specific product filled this month, for example two-wheeler loans before a festival season. Renewal reminders and referral asks cost nothing in media, and for most advisers they are the cheaper first fix.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
