Commercial insurance brokers · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the documents and updates clients already expect to receive there.

WhatsApp for a commercial broker means a clear way to send renewal reminders, collect documents and answer a client's questions in the channel Indian businesses already use. GullySales sets the rules, the message templates and the line between service and promotion.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Insurance brokers: show a real physical business scene illustrating Client files and risk details. Hold each client with contacts, assets, turnover and the full list of cover arranged through the firm, whichever underwriter issued it.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For commercial insurance brokers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Clients already send documents on WhatsApp”

A finance head forwards a surveyor's report or a shipment photo on WhatsApp before writing an email. If the broker's team receives it on a personal phone, nothing is recorded, and the next person cannot find it.

  • “A group per client can become a risk”

A shared group with insurers, the client and the broker mixes service, quotations and opinion. Rules for who can post and what is moved to email protect the record and avoid commitments made casually.

  • “Broadcasts need consent”

Sending promotional messages to a list that never agreed to them harms trust and breaches platform rules. Check the platform's current rules and keep promotion apart from service notes.

  • “Renewal reminders belong here”

A short note before expiry asking the client to confirm details is welcomed on WhatsApp, where a long email may be buried. Keep claim details and quotations in signed or emailed form, with the chat used only to point to them.

What we do

What we deliver for commercial insurance brokers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business set-up

A business profile with the firm's name, licence details and a clear greeting.

Result: Clients see a verified, professional contact.

  2. Service and reminder templates

Approved message wording for renewals, document requests and claim updates.

Result: Messages stay consistent whoever sends them.

  3. Use rules for the team

A short guide on what is handled on WhatsApp and what moves to email or a signed document.

Result: Commitments are recorded in the right place.

  4. Document handling routine

A step for saving files received on WhatsApp into the client's record.

Result: Nothing sits on one person's phone.

  5. Consent and opt-in wording

Simple wording to ask a client's permission for updates before any promotion is sent.

Result: Your lists contain people who agreed.

How the result is measured

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers on WhatsApp?
Only to people who agreed, within the platform's current rules and your regulator's advertising norms. Check with your compliance officer.
Should we use the WhatsApp Business API?
It helps if several people share one number and want templates. A smaller firm may be fine with the Business app.
Who owns the number?
The firm should. A client contact held only on an individual's phone leaves with that person.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
