Life insurance agencies · Content marketing

Write the explanation a cousin in the business would give over a cup of tea.

Content marketing for a life insurance agency is the writing, video and checklists that answer a family's questions before they ever speak to an adviser. GullySales plans the pieces, drafts them in plain language and routes each one past your compliance contact.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Life insurance advisors: show a real physical business scene illustrating Premium due calendar. List every policy by due date and mode, with reminders on WhatsApp and SMS before the date and again inside the grace period.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For life insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Jargon makes the buyer call a cousin”

Rider, waiting period, sum assured and surrender value are everyday words to an adviser. To a new parent they are the reason to close the tab and phone a cousin instead. Define each word in a sentence the first time, then use it.

  • “One idea per piece wins the reader”

A page that tries to cover term, savings, pension and tax in one go answers nothing. Pick a single question, such as what a nominee is, and finish it. Link to the next question at the end.

  • “Explainers must be checked against the insurer”

A rider described slightly wrongly is a mis-statement under the advertising rules. Every figure and benefit in a piece should be traceable to the insurer's own material, with a note beside the draft of exactly which document it came from.

  • “Content is for reading and for forwarding”

A parent reads an explainer and sends it to the family group. Write the piece so it makes sense without the agency's name beside it, and keep a short WhatsApp-sized version alongside the full page.

What we do

What we deliver for life insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A topic plan by life event

Topics grouped under first job, marriage, children, loans, retirement and review, ordered by what your clients ask.

Result: A written list of what to publish and why.

  2. Plain explainers

Short pages on riders, nominees, waiting periods and claim documents, written in simple English or the language you choose.

Result: A prospect can read before the first call.

  3. Downloadable checklists

A checklist of papers to keep at home, and one of questions to ask at a policy review.

Result: A page a client can print or forward.

  4. Short-form versions

Each piece cut down to a message and a short video script for WhatsApp and social posts.

Result: One idea, ready in the sizes you need.

  5. A source and approval log

A record beside each piece of the insurer material it rests on and who approved it.

Result: A trail you can show if a piece is questioned.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we choose what to write first?
Start with the questions your advisers keep answering on calls and WhatsApp. Those are the questions a stranger is also asking. Your own call notes are a better list than any keyword tool.
Can we mention returns or claim settlement figures?
That depends on regulator and insurer rules, which differ and change. Check with your insurer's compliance desk before any figure appears. We write explainers that do not need them, and add figures only when you supply an approved source.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
