Life insurance agencies · WhatsApp marketing

Reply to the night-time question in the agency's name, with the right questions asked.

WhatsApp marketing for a life insurance agency is the use of a business number to answer enquiries, send reminders to families who agreed to them and hand each conversation to the right adviser. GullySales builds the flows and the consent list, and you approve every message.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For life insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The question arrives after office hours”

A parent asks about cover once the baby is asleep, which is when the office is shut. A reply that comes the next afternoon meets a buyer who has already received a quote from an online platform.

  • “Broadcasting to a phone list invites blocks”

Sending a promotion to every number in an adviser's phone treats a trusted contact as a mailing list. Message only people who have agreed to hear from the agency, and make leaving the list easy.

  • “Sensitive details do not belong in an open chat”

Health history and identity numbers should travel only through the insurer's own process, never through an open chat. The first reply should ask age, dependants and loans, then move everything else to a call or to the proposal form.

  • “One number, several advisers”

If every adviser answers from a personal number, clients have no way to reach the agency. A business number with a shared inbox and a named adviser on duty keeps the thread when someone is away.

What we do

What we deliver for life insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile and quick replies

The WhatsApp Business profile filled in with hours, address and services, with saved replies for the questions that come up again and again.

Result: A profile that looks like an agency, not a stranger's number.

  2. A first-reply flow

An automatic reply that asks two or three simple questions, records the answers and passes a callback request to the adviser on duty.

Result: Every message gets a first reply in the agency's name.

  3. A consented contact list

A list of families who agreed to reminders, with a note of what each agreed to, and a simple way to leave.

Result: A list you can show if anyone asks how a number got there.

  4. Reminder templates

Short, approved messages for premium due dates, review invitations and document requests, checked against the platform's current rules.

Result: Reminders go out in wording you have signed off.

  5. A handover rule

Who takes over a conversation, how it is logged and when it moves from chat to a call.

Result: No thread is left with nobody.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we send promotional messages to all our clients?
Only to those who agreed to receive them, and subject to the platform's current rules and your insurer's guidance. Reminders about a policy are a different matter from promotion, so keep the two lists apart and ask each family.
Should we use the free business app or the paid API?
A small agency can begin with the free business app. The paid API suits larger teams that need several users, automatic replies and reminders at volume. We recommend by your team size and message load, not by what is newest.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
