Banks · Data and list building

Build a list of customers whose FDs mature next quarter, not a purchased database.

Data list building for a bank means compiling accurate, permission-based lists from your own customer data: customers with a maturing fixed deposit, or an eligible pre-approved loan offer. It is not a purchased, generic contact list. GullySales builds this from data you already hold.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What data and list building means

Data and list building is compiling and cleaning a list of real prospects, such as businesses in a certain area or category, for calling, mailing or advertising to directly. GullySales verifies these lists so a sales team is not calling wrong numbers or closed businesses.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your own customer data is more valuable than any purchased list”

A list of your existing customers who qualify for a pre-approved personal loan converts far better than an equally sized list of strangers. It already exists inside your core banking system.

  • “Consent and compliance shape how this data can be used”

RBI and data protection norms limit how customer information can be used for marketing, so any list building needs to work within consent already obtained, not around it.

  • “Maturity and renewal dates create naturally timed lists”

A list of fixed deposits maturing in the next thirty days is a specific, actionable segment that a generic broad list of all customers cannot replicate.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Maturity and pre-approval lists from your own data

Lists of customers with a maturing fixed deposit or an eligible pre-approved loan, built from your core banking data rather than a purchased list.

Result: Outreach goes to a customer who already qualifies, not a stranger.

  2. Consent-checked list building

A review step confirming each list respects consent already obtained under RBI and data protection norms, before it is used.

Result: The list stays within what customers have actually agreed to.

  3. Refresh cycle for time-sensitive lists

A rebuild of lists such as maturing deposits, timed to stay accurate as accounts move through their cycle.

Result: Outreach reaches a customer while the moment is still relevant.

  4. List quality check before use

A check for duplicate, outdated or ineligible entries before a list goes to a calling or messaging team.

Result: Effort is not wasted on a contact who no longer qualifies.

How the result is measured

  • Verified contacts
  • List accuracy rate
  • Conversion rate from the list

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Fields every list needs

A list built from your own data is only useful if each row says who to call, why and whether you may.

Customer ID and home branch
Keep the customer ID and home branch on every row, so the right branch makes the call and one customer is never listed twice under two spellings of a name.
Product and maturity date
For a deposit list, record the maturity date and whether auto-renewal is already set. A deposit set to renew needs no outreach.
Consent and contact status
Record whether the customer has agreed to be contacted and on which channel. Check the bank's consent record and do-not-disturb status before any call or message goes out.
Last contact and by whom
Note the last time anyone spoke to this customer about a product, so two staff do not call the same person with the same offer.
Source of a pre-approved offer
For pre-approved loan lists, note which credit rule or file produced the offer. Staff should quote only what that source allows.
Extract date and owner
Stamp the date the data was pulled and name one person responsible for each row. Balances move, and an old extract reminds a customer about a deposit already closed.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the data and list building work runs

  1. 1

    Assess the existing database

We review what exists, its size, its sources and its obvious problems.

  2. 2

    Verify contacts

Numbers and emails are checked for accuracy and current activity.

  3. 3

    Deduplicate and enrich

Repeated entries are merged and missing detail is added where it can be found.

  4. 4

    Score and prioritise

Contacts are ranked by confidence and relevance, so the strongest ones surface first.

  5. 5

    Hand over and refresh

The cleaned list is delivered, with an agreed schedule for keeping it current.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Can we buy a list to supplement this?
We generally advise against purchased financial-services lists, both for compliance reasons and because they convert far worse than your own customer data.
How often should these lists be refreshed?
Monthly for time-sensitive lists such as maturing deposits, so outreach happens while it is still relevant to the customer.
Which customer data can we use for a list, and which do we leave alone?
Use data the customer gave for the banking relationship and agreed to be contacted on. Rules on using customer data for marketing differ and change, so check with your compliance or data protection team before adding any new field. Leave out anything you could not explain to the customer.
Who should hold the list once it is built?
Keep it with the branch or team that will make the calls, with access limited to those staff. A list passed around as email attachments gets forwarded and goes stale. Ask your IT and compliance teams how customer extracts must be stored, and record who received which extract.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
