Finance and insurance advisers · Lead generation

Three numbers on WhatsApp decide whether you are still in it.

Lead generation for an adviser is the WhatsApp query wanting an amount, a tenure and a rate, answered before the customer messages the next agent. GullySales sets the first reply, the qualifying questions per product, and the document chase that turns an agreed loan into a file.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For finance and insurance advisers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The same message went to three agents”

She is comparing replies rather than advisers, and whoever answers inside the hour is the only one still being read by evening.

  • “Documents are the real qualifier”

Salary slip, ITR, bank statement, and for a parent's health cover the medical history. Ask early and you stop working cases that were never going to pass.

  • “The customer agrees on the call and then goes quiet”

Nothing is wrong. The papers are at home, the week gets busy, and without a nudge on Friday the file never opens.

What we do

What we deliver for finance and insurance advisers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first reply carrying the indicative numbers

A short message giving the range on rate, tenure and processing charge as your principal permits, sent while the customer is still comparing.

Result: You stay on her list past the first hour.

  2. Qualifying questions written for each product

Income proof and existing obligations for a loan, age and medical history for health cover, asked in the order that decides the case.

Result: You stop working files that cannot pass.

  3. One log for calls, missed calls and WhatsApp

Every enquiry in a single list with the product, the source and who replied, including the ones arriving while you had a walk-in.

Result: An enquiry stops depending on who was free.

  4. A document chase with dates on it

A reminder schedule for the papers a customer promised, running through the week instead of stopping after one message.

Result: Agreed cases turn into logged-in files.

  5. Source tagged down to the sub-agent

Each enquiry marked with the branch, sub-agent, DSA or referrer it came from, recorded at the first contact rather than later.

Result: You can see which source actually produces files.

  6. Reporting by product line

Enquiries, proposals, logins and issued policies split by product, set against the figures taken before any of this was in place.

Result: You know which line is worth your time.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The places an adviser's enquiries arrive, and what to record at each.

WhatsApp message asking about a loan or policy
Record the product, the amount or cover wanted and the customer's consent to be contacted. Reply with the qualifying questions, not the rate, and note the source as WhatsApp.
Call or form from a lender's or insurer's lead desk
Log the principal, the product and the date received. Call straight away, as the customer has often enquired with others, and record whether they take it up.
Existing customer's policy renewal or loan top-up
Note the renewal date, the product held and any claim or change in income. Contact the customer before the due date, not after, with the right documents ready.
Referral from a chartered accountant or a client
Write down the referrer, the customer and what they need. Never promise the referrer a payment unless your principal's rules and the law allow it, and check with them first.
Society, community or workplace event
Take names and the product wanted on a sign-in sheet, with consent to call. Mark the event as the source and call the people who asked, not everyone in the room.
Calls from the Google Business Profile or a directory
Record the product asked about and the time of the call. A missed call is a lost customer, so call back from the office number and log the outcome.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we send the rate on the first message?
Send the range you are permitted to quote, with the condition attached, because a customer who gets nothing moves on. The exact figure follows the documents. Check with your principal what may be stated before an application is made.
How do we stop wasting time on customers who will not qualify?
Ask the two questions that decide it before anything else. For a loan that is income proof and existing obligations. For health cover it is the age and the medical history of whoever is being covered.
Can we message people who have only asked once about a loan?
Contact them only about what they asked for, and only with their consent. Record the consent, the product and the date. Advertising and promotion rules for your line of business differ by regulator and change, so check with your own principal or regulator.
How do we log enquiries from different lenders or insurers we work with?
Use one register with the customer, the product, the principal and the stage. A customer may be offered more than one principal, so note which one was shown. It makes follow-up and comparing results simple, and avoids two advisers calling the same customer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
