Finance and insurance advisers · Digital marketing

The book you already hold is cheaper than any enquiry you buy.

Digital marketing for an adviser is the plan balancing new enquiries against the renewals and cross-sell already sitting in your book. GullySales builds that plan around your renewal calendar and the tax-saving quarter, puts a compliance check before anything published, and reports by product line.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of finance and insurance advisers at work in India

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For finance and insurance advisers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A renewal costs nothing in media and pays the same”

Every policy in your book has a date on it, and the agent who calls first keeps the customer. No campaign is cheaper.

  • “The year has two peaks and you know both”

January to March for tax-saving cover and investment, and the festival months for vehicle finance. A flat spend across twelve months wastes most of it.

  • “The plan has to fit what your principal permits”

Every channel carries the same limits on what may be claimed about a product, so the rules come first and the campaign second.

What we do

What we deliver for finance and insurance advisers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan built on the renewal calendar

The months mapped from your own book, with the tax-saving quarter and the festival vehicle season marked, deciding what runs when.

Result: Effort lands while customers are deciding.

  2. A compliance step before anything is published

Adverts, pages, posts and messages checked against what the regulator and your principal allow about that product, with the clearance recorded.

Result: Nothing public is left to somebody's judgement.

  3. One record for enquiries, quotes and due dates

A single place holding every enquiry, the quote given and the due date on every policy, replacing the diary and the loose notes.

Result: Nothing depends on remembering a date.

  4. Media spend put behind one product at a time

Search and adverts aimed at a single product line for a season, rather than spread thinly over everything you are appointed for.

Result: A push is big enough to show a result.

  5. A referral ask timed to the right moment

A prepared request going out when a claim settles or a loan disburses, instead of months later when the feeling has passed.

    Result: Referrals stop being accidental.

  6. Reporting by product line

Enquiries, conversions, renewals and referrals split by loan and policy type, set against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can see which line the spend feeds.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for an adviser

Work the book you already hold before you buy a single enquiry.

A renewal and due-date register
List every policy, loan and SIP with the client, the product and the next due date. Call each client before the date, and mark who renewed and who moved elsewhere.
A written compliance check
Agree with your principal, insurer or compliance officer what you may publish and which words are barred. Keep each approved message and its date on file.
WhatsApp reply for enquiries
Save a polite first reply for loan, health and motor queries that asks for the details you need. Log the time of the query, the product and the next step.
Google Business Profile
Check the office address, the hours, your registration details and the products you handle. Record calls from the profile against the product they asked about.
A product-line page
Write one page for the product you want to grow, such as health cover for a family, in plain words with the documents needed. Record the enquiries that arrive from it.
What to leave until later
Return claims, paid reach for many products at once and a long video series. Check each advert with your principal first, as the rules differ by product and change.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where should a single adviser start?
With the renewal dates and the reply routine, because neither costs anything in media and both stop losses you already have. Search and advertising come after, and only for the one product you want more of.
How is the fee worked out?
After we have read your brief and spoken to you, and written down before anything starts, with our time kept separate from your media spend and any production cost. The term is agreed in writing. For a single adviser the media share is usually small.
Can we run this ourselves, or must it go to an agency?
You can keep the register, the replies and the calls, since the adviser knows the client. An agency helps with the page and the listing. Whoever writes copy, your compliance check comes first, and your principal's rules decide what can be shown.
How do I tell whether new enquiries or renewals bring in more?
Tag each case in the register as new, renewal or cross-sell, with the source. After a renewal peak, count by tag and by product line. Your own sheet will show what ads and word of mouth each added.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
