Gold loan and NBFC lenders · Follow up systems

The borrower said he would bring the gold tomorrow, never came, and nobody called.

A follow-up system for a gold loan or NBFC lender decides who calls whom after an enquiry, an appraisal that did not end in a pledge, or a vehicle loan file waiting on papers. GullySales writes the routine with your branch managers and puts a name and a next step against every open enquiry.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What follow up systems means

A follow-up system is the set routine for calling, messaging or emailing an enquiry more than once, since most buyers do not decide on the first conversation. GullySales sets the number and timing of follow-ups so an undecided buyer keeps hearing from you until they decide either way.

For gold loan and NBFC lenders

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Tomorrow means after the family agrees”

A borrower pledging jewellery has to talk to someone at home first. A call the next evening, asking whether they decided, finds him while the need is still there.

  • “The vehicle file dies at the document stage”

The buyer chose the bike, the dealer sent the name, and the file waits on an address proof. Nobody chases it, and the dealer's default financier takes the sale.

  • “A follow-up call is not a recovery call”

Staff used to overdue calls carry the same tone into a new enquiry. A borrower who was only asking feels pressed and does not come back.

What we do

What we deliver for gold loan and NBFC lenders.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An open enquiry list per branch

Every enquiry that has not become a loan, with the borrower, the product, the next step and the person who owns the call.

Result: The branch manager sees who is waiting on whom.

  2. Words for the first callback

What to say when ringing someone who asked about a gold loan or a takeover, in the regional language, without pressure and without rate promises.

Result: Callbacks sound like help rather than chasing.

  3. A document chase for NBFC files

A checklist per product showing what is pending, who holds it and when the buyer expects it, shared with the dealer where the buyer agrees.

Result: Files stop stalling over a missing paper.

  4. A stop rule

How many attempts an enquiry gets, on which channels, before it is closed with a reason.

Result: Borrowers are not pestered, and dead enquiries leave the list.

  5. Reasons recorded for every lost enquiry

Amount too low, another lender, family said no, need passed or documents missing, picked from a short list.

Result: You can see whether you lose on valuation, on speed or on trust.

  6. Call history kept against the enquiry

Each call and message logged in the loan system or a shared sheet, not in one staff member's phone log.

Result: A new staff member picks up where the last one stopped.

How the result is measured

  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Average number of follow-ups before close
  • Enquiries closed after repeat follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Follow-up routine for lenders

Each open gold loan or NBFC enquiry has a person, a channel and a next step written down.

Missed call or unanswered message
The branch rings back during counter hours and, if there is no answer, sends one WhatsApp note with the hours. Record the attempt and the outcome.
Appraised but did not pledge
The appraiser calls the next day, asks what held them back and offers to go through the valuation again. Record the reason in the borrower's own words.
'I will come tomorrow with the gold'
Call the following evening, ask whether the family agreed and confirm the documents to bring. Record the new date they give, not a guess.
Takeover waiting on the release figure
Ask the borrower for the old lender's closure amount and agree how the release will happen. Record the lender and the amount as stated.
Vehicle loan file waiting on documents
Ring the buyer with the exact paper missing and tell the dealer. Record what is pending, who holds it and the date the buyer gave.
Borrower who chose another lender
Thank them, ask what decided it, and ask whether you may call next season. Record the reason and the permission.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for gold loan and NBFC lenders

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace how last season's pledges arrived, by branch and by source, and look at how many due dates passed without a call and how many closed borrowers never returned.

  2. 2

    Fix the branch front door

Maps listings, phone numbers that someone answers, a rate board and a scheme sheet the counter staff use, branch by branch.

  3. 3

Set the reminder and release routine

Due-date calls, renewal offers and the after-closure call written down, with who makes each one and what gets recorded.

  4. 4

    Run the seasons

Campaigns timed to sowing, school fees, harvest and the festival months, with wording your compliance officer approved before the season starts.

  5. 5

    Measure by branch

Enquiries, new pledges, renewals and returning borrowers counted per branch against the baseline, so the branch that needs help is visible to head office.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many times should we call someone who asked about a gold loan?
A few attempts over the days the borrower mentioned, then a WhatsApp note with the branch hours, and stop. A gold loan need passes quickly. If they pledged elsewhere, record it and ask what decided it.
Who should make follow-up calls, the branch or a call centre?
The branch, for gold loans, because the borrower wants to talk to the counter he visited. A central desk suits vehicle and business loan files and enquiries outside branch hours, handing the borrower to the branch to finish.
A borrower said no. Do we keep calling?
No. Record the reason, thank them, and ask whether you may contact them next season. If they agree, note the month they mention. If not, mark the number so no branch rings it again.
Can follow-up happen on WhatsApp instead of calls?
For a reminder of hours or documents, yes, if the borrower agreed to WhatsApp. For a borrower still deciding, ring, because the doubt is about family and trust, and a typed message cannot answer it.
Can we advertise our gold loan amount per gram?
Yes, if the figure is current and its conditions travel with it. The amount per gram moves with the gold price, so a printed hoarding goes stale. Put the live figure on the branch board and in Maps posts, and have your compliance officer approve how rates and charges are shown.
Will your team speak to our borrowers about their loans?
No. We write the reminder wording, set up the call lists and the records, and train your staff. Any conversation about a borrower's loan, the appraisal or the amount stays with your branch team, because the licence and the relationship are yours.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
