Gold loan and NBFC lenders · Reputation management

One review about an auction notice can outweigh years of quiet, honest lending.

Reputation management for a gold loan or NBFC lender is how branches handle what borrowers say about them on Google, JustDial and in the neighbourhood: the valuation, the wait, the recovery calls and the auction. GullySales sets up monitoring and reply wording that never discloses a loan, and traces each complaint to a fix inside the branch.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For gold loan and NBFC lenders

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Recovery conduct ends up in public”

A borrower who felt harassed over an overdue loan writes about it and names the branch, sometimes the caller. Lenders have rules on recovery conduct for this reason, and the reply has to show you take it seriously.

  • “The valuation is the most common grievance”

The borrower expected more for the chain than the branch offered. Without a plain explanation of purity and weight net of stones, he concludes he was cheated.

  • “A careless reply discloses a loan”

Confirming in public that the reviewer pledged gold with you, or mentioning an amount, breaches the borrower's privacy and embarrasses them. The reply says nothing about any account.

What we do

What we deliver for gold loan and NBFC lenders.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Review monitoring for every branch

Google, JustDial and the main complaint sites watched for every branch, with new reviews routed to the branch manager and the regional head.

Result: A complaint is seen by someone who can act on it.

  2. Reply wording that discloses nothing

Standing replies for praise, a valuation complaint, a long wait and a recovery complaint, approved by compliance and written in the reviewer's language.

Result: Every review gets an answer that protects the borrower's privacy.

  3. A route from review to grievance desk

Any review describing harm or a recovery complaint copied to your grievance officer, logged and answered through the formal process.

Result: Serious complaints get the formal handling they need.

  4. A valuation explainer shown during appraisal

One page on how weight, stones and purity affect the amount, put in front of the borrower while the appraiser works.

Result: Fewer borrowers leave feeling short-changed.

  5. An honest review ask after a clean release

A short request when a borrower collects the ornaments and leaves happy, with no gift, staff quota or pressure, and never while a complaint is open.

Result: Recent reviews reflect ordinary good service, not only anger.

  6. Ratings and complaint themes by branch

Ratings, recurring complaint themes and replies sent per branch, set against the baseline at the audit.

Result: The branch with a conduct problem shows up early.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How a gold loan branch replies to praise, valuation complaints, recovery complaints and auction reviews.

Praise after the gold is released
Thank the borrower without mentioning the loan, the amount or the ornaments. Pass the praise to the named staff member and note what went well.
The amount was lower than expected
Reply that you would be glad to explain how the valuation was done, and give the branch number. Inside, check whether the appraiser showed the weight and purity readings.
Complaint about recovery calls
Reply that you take conduct seriously and give the grievance contact. Inside, pull the call record, check the calls against your fair practice code and act on what you find.
Review about an auction
Do not discuss the account. Say you cannot talk about any customer's loan in public and invite a call. Inside, check that every reminder and notice went out as your process requires.
Long wait in a crowded branch
Apologise for the wait and mention the quieter hours if you know them. Inside, look at whether a second appraiser or booked slots are needed on market days.
Review that looks fake or planted
Check the name against your borrower records. If nothing matches, report it through the platform's process and reply once, plainly. Never post reviews of your own in return.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for gold loan and NBFC lenders

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace how last season's pledges arrived, by branch and by source, and look at how many due dates passed without a call and how many closed borrowers never returned.

  2. 2

    Fix the branch front door

Maps listings, phone numbers that someone answers, a rate board and a scheme sheet the counter staff use, branch by branch.

  3. 3

Set the reminder and release routine

Due-date calls, renewal offers and the after-closure call written down, with who makes each one and what gets recorded.

  4. 4

    Run the seasons

Campaigns timed to sowing, school fees, harvest and the festival months, with wording your compliance officer approved before the season starts.

  5. 5

    Measure by branch

Enquiries, new pledges, renewals and returning borrowers counted per branch against the baseline, so the branch that needs help is visible to head office.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask borrowers for Google reviews?
Yes, if you ask every satisfied borrower the same way and offer nothing in return. Do not pick only the borrowers you expect to be kind, and do not set staff targets for reviews. Check Google's current rules on asking for reviews.
The review is in Kannada. Should we reply in English?
Reply in the language the borrower used. A formal English reply to a Kannada review reads as head office brushing them off. Keep approved replies in each language your branches work in.
A review names one of our branch staff. What do we do?
If it praises them, thank the borrower and tell the staff member privately. If it accuses them, do not argue or defend the person in public. Reply that the matter is being looked into, then check the visit or call record privately.
Can a negative review be taken down?
Only if it breaks the platform's rules, such as a fake reviewer or abusive language, and only through the platform's process. Nobody can promise removal. A calm reply to a real complaint does more for the next reader than a deleted review.
Can we advertise our gold loan amount per gram?
Yes, if the figure is current and its conditions travel with it. The amount per gram moves with the gold price, so a printed hoarding goes stale. Put the live figure on the branch board and in Maps posts, and have your compliance officer approve how rates and charges are shown.
Will your team speak to our borrowers about their loans?
No. We write the reminder wording, set up the call lists and the records, and train your staff. Any conversation about a borrower's loan, the appraisal or the amount stays with your branch team, because the licence and the relationship are yours.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
