Multispeciality hospitals · Social media

Use social media to explain departments, not to advertise the hospital.

Social media marketing for a multispeciality hospital is the posting, replying and community work on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn that helps families and referrers understand what each department does. GullySales plans a calendar by department, drafts posts for doctor review and sets up how comments and messages reach the right desk.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For multispeciality hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A hospital page that posts festival greetings wins nothing”

Greeting graphics fill a feed and say nothing about care. A family looking at the page wants to know what the cardiology team does, who the doctors are and how an admission works, and a feed of festivals answers none of it.

  • “Doctors on camera build trust, with limits”

A short video of a consultant explaining when to see a specialist is more useful than a stock photo. Consent, council rules on advertising and no outcome claims all apply, so each video needs the doctor's and management's approval.

  • “Comments and messages are enquiries”

A relative who comments to ask about a visiting hour or a cost is a prospective patient. If nobody replies, or the reply gives clinical advice in public, the page becomes a liability rather than a channel.

  • “LinkedIn reaches the employer buyer”

HR heads and corporate wellness managers look for hospitals on LinkedIn. Posts about health check packages, onsite camps and insurance tie-ups are written for that reader, not for a patient scrolling at night.

What we do

What we deliver for multispeciality hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Department content calendar

A plan of topics per department, so each wing gets attention based on capacity, not on which doctor posts more.

Result: Every priority department has planned posts.

  2. Doctor-approved post drafts

Draft captions, scripts and graphics sent to the consultant for written approval before publishing.

Result: Each published post has an approval on file.

  3. Comment and message routing

A guide for who replies to what, with a rule to move health questions to a call or consultation.

Result: No public reply carries clinical advice.

  4. Awareness day plan

Posts around days such as heart, diabetes and cancer awareness, linked to the department's health check or camp.

Result: Awareness posts connect to a bookable service.

  5. Channel report by department

Reach, enquiries and messages grouped by department so management compares them with the capacity list.

Result: The owner sees which department each post supported.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these multispeciality hospitals.

  • Independent hospitals of 100 to 300 beds with all main departments
  • Hospitals run by a doctors' group or a single founder-surgeon
  • Trust and charitable multispeciality hospitals with paying wards
  • Corporate hospital chains with several branches in one state
  • Second-tier city hospitals that draw patients from surrounding taluks
  • Hospitals attached to a medical college with a private wing
  • Hospitals built around a cluster of visiting consultants
  • Newly opened hospitals still filling departments one by one

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post patient stories?
In health advertising, testimonials and patient stories are restricted, and the rules differ by profession and state. Check with your own council or adviser before using any. We do not write or source them.
Do we need to post on every platform?
No. Choose the platforms where your patients, referrers and employer contacts already are. A few well-run channels do more than five neglected ones.
Should we run paid promotion?
Paid promotion suits a department with space to fill, and platform rules for health advertising are strict and change. Check the platform's current rules, and agree a budget with management before any spend.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
