Doctors and general clinics · Local SEO
Open now is the filter that decides whether your phone rings.
Local SEO for a clinic is the map listing a parent checks at night for a doctor nearby who is open. GullySales recovers the listing, puts each doctor's sitting times where a patient can read them, and keeps Practo and JustDial saying the same thing.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For doctors and general clinics
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Wrong Sunday timings cost you a year of families”
A listing made by somebody else years ago still says closed on Sunday morning, and every parent who checks goes to a hospital OPD instead.
“A map listing has no field for who sits when”
Two doctors share the clinic, and unless the sitting days go into the description and the posts, a patient has to ring to find out.
“The pin is on the building and the entrance is down a lane”
A patient arriving by auto needs the door rather than the block, and a wrong pin becomes a phone call your desk cannot take.
What we do
What we deliver for doctors and general clinics.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Ownership of the listing recovered
The profile traced, claimed and verified, with the old login found or the listing reclaimed, so somebody at the clinic can edit it.
Result: You stop being unable to correct your own hours.
Hours for every session, including festival days
Morning and evening OPD, the lunch break, Sunday timings and the days the clinic closes, entered and then kept current.
Result: A parent checking at night sees the real hours.
Each doctor's sitting days written in
The description, the services and the posts carrying who sits which days and at what time, since the listing gives no place for it.
Result: A patient asking for the lady doctor knows before calling.
The pin set at the entrance, with directions
The marker moved to the door rather than the block, with a line about the lane, the landmark and where an auto should stop.
Result: Patients arrive without calling for directions.
Practo, JustDial and Google kept matching
The same timings, doctors, services and phone number across every listing a patient might open, checked to a schedule rather than once.
Result: Nothing contradicts anything else.
Calls and direction requests reported
What the listing produced and how it moved against the baseline taken before anything on it was changed.
Result: You can see the listing working.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What Google weighs here
How a family nearby finds a doctor who is open, and what to fix first.
- General practitioner or paediatrician
- Choose General practitioner or Paediatrician as the main category, in line with the doctor's qualification. Do not add hospital, which brings emergency searches the clinic cannot take, and never add a speciality the doctor does not hold.
- What the clinic does as services
- List fever and cold care, diabetes review, child vaccination, health check and home visits, as they apply. Say plainly what the visit covers. Do not list a service the doctor does not deliver.
- Sessions with a break
- Show the morning and evening sittings as two sessions with the gap between them. A listing that shows the clinic open all day sends a parent to a locked door at lunch.
- Practo, Lybrate and Justdial
- Claim Practo, Lybrate and Justdial. Use the same doctor name and registration as the Medical Council record, the same clinic name and the same sitting times on all three. Remove duplicates.
- The reception number
- Show the number the reception answers during sittings. Keep the doctor's personal mobile off every public listing. A patient who reaches a person books, and one who reaches a ring tone looks at the next clinic.
- Family reviews and privacy
- Ask a parent or family at the end of the visit, and reply without naming the patient or the illness. Medical advertising rules for doctors differ by state and body, so check with your own council before you use review text on your website.
Who it is for
This is written for these doctors and general clinics.
- Single-doctor family and general practice clinics
- Polyclinics with visiting consultants
- Physicians and internal medicine consultants in private practice
- Paediatric and child health clinics
- Diabetes and lifestyle disease clinics
- Home visit doctors and home nursing services
- Home sample collection and diagnostic partner centres
- Medical equipment rental and home care providers
- Corporate and occupational health service providers
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- The clinic has no fixed address, because the doctor makes home visits only, and a listing for a place that does not exist would be refused.
- The listing is run by a hospital or polyclinic that controls the profile, so the doctor may not be able to edit it.
- The timings differ between the doctors who share the clinic and nobody has agreed one set to publish.
How it works
How the local SEO work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Write down what is true
Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.
- 2
Search as your buyer does
We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.
- 3
Fix the profile first
Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.
- 4
Build the branch pages and match the listings
Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.
- 5
Ask, reply and measure
We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
