Doctors and general clinics · Social media

The apartment group brings more families than any doctor's page.

Social media for a clinic is mostly the resident and apartment WhatsApp groups nearby, plus a small factual presence elsewhere. GullySales prepares the note an association admin will actually post, and agrees the wording rules before anything goes out under the doctor's name.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

Last updated 17 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For doctors and general clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A doctor's own page is where the rules bite hardest”

A post that reads as soliciting patients puts a registration at risk, and it is the doctor's registration rather than the clinic's.

  • “The association admin is the channel”

One factual note in a building group reaches four hundred families who have just moved in, which no amount of posting achieves.

  • “Health tips are where clinics slip”

A post naming a medicine or promising relief crosses from information into something else, and the reader never notices while a council might.

What we do

What we deliver for doctors and general clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A wording rule agreed with the doctor first

What may be said, what never goes up and who approves each post, written down before a single thing is published anywhere.

Result: Staff and any agency work to one rule.

  2. A note the association admin will post

A short factual introduction with the doctors, the timings, the services and the number, written so an admin can forward it without editing.

Result: New buildings hear about you at handover.

  3. A factual post calendar

Timing changes, a vaccination drive, a festival closure and a new service, posted as announcements rather than as health advice.

Result: The page stays useful and stays inside the rules.

  4. A health talk outline the doctor can give

A short talk for an association meeting or a school, with the handout prepared and the clinic details on the last page.

Result: The doctor meets fifty families in an hour.

  5. A rule on patient photographs and praise

A clear line on patient images, testimonials and before-and-after material, kept where the front desk and any agency can see it.

Result: Nobody posts a patient without thinking.

  6. A record of everything posted, kept for you

A monthly file of what went out under the clinic's name and under each doctor's name, held in case it is ever questioned.

Result: You have the record if anyone asks for it.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platforms for local families

Where local families look for a doctor, and what a clinic can post for each.

Apartment and resident association groups
Post only through the admin, as one short introduction: doctor's name, timings, services and the area covered for home visits. The action wanted is saving the number. Do not repeat it.
Google Business Profile posts
Post holiday timings, vaccination days and health camp dates. The action wanted is a call or directions, so keep the address, timings and consulting days exact.
WhatsApp status for existing patients
Post a change of timing, a closure or a seasonal reminder to bring earlier reports. The action wanted is a message to book. Do not send medical advice on status.
Facebook page for older patients and their families
Post the same facts as the Google profile, in the local language, with a photo of the clinic front. The action wanted is a visit. Keep comments off medical questions.
What not to post for a general clinic
Do not post patient photos, prescriptions, case stories, drug names or cure claims. Rules on professional advertising differ by state and body and change, so check them with your own council.

Who it is for

This is written for these doctors and general clinics.

  • Single-doctor family and general practice clinics
  • Polyclinics with visiting consultants
  • Physicians and internal medicine consultants in private practice
  • Paediatric and child health clinics
  • Diabetes and lifestyle disease clinics
  • Home visit doctors and home nursing services
  • Home sample collection and diagnostic partner centres
  • Medical equipment rental and home care providers
  • Corporate and occupational health service providers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The doctor does not want to post and nobody else may speak for the practice, so the page would stay empty.
  • You plan to post patient videos, thank-you notes or before and after images, which the conduct rules and consent rules do not allow.
  • Nobody can answer a medical question in a comment without giving advice, and a page that cannot reply looks abandoned.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm audience, platforms and access

We note which platforms your buyers use and check that the pages sit under your own business accounts, with you as owner and us as added roles.

  2. 2

    Review the current presence

We read the existing pages, the posts that drew replies and the gaps in posting.

  3. 3

    Build the calendar

Themes, formats and dates are set out for your approval, with space for offers and news.

  4. 4

    Create, approve and publish

Posts are made, approved by you and scheduled. Replies to the public are handled in your voice.

  5. 5

    Record enquiries and adjust

Enquiries are logged against the post or platform where they began, and the mix changes to follow what brings them.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can a doctor post on Instagram at all?
Factual information is a different thing from soliciting patients, and where that line falls sits in your council's conduct rules rather than in a platform's policy. Those rules have been revised and stayed in recent years, so treat nothing as settled. Check the current position with your council or your own adviser.
Another clinic posts patient videos. Why should we not?
Because their registration is theirs and yours is yours, and one of you may be reading the rules wrongly. We do not write or display patient testimonials for a doctor. What we do instead is make it easy for patients to review you themselves.
Should the doctor's personal profile carry clinic posts?
Keep personal and clinic accounts apart. A personal profile mixes family photos, opinions and patient requests. Make a clinic page for facts and let the doctor share them if wanted. Never accept a patient's friend request on a personal profile.
What if someone asks a medical question in a comment or message?
Do not give advice online. Reply with one line that the doctor can only advise after seeing the patient, and give the clinic hours. For a possible emergency, say to go to the nearest hospital. Keep a standing reply ready for staff.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
