Physiotherapy clinics · Local SEO

Win the map result a patient in pain taps before reading anything else.

Local SEO for a physio clinic is about the three Maps listings, the area they cover and the hours shown on them. A patient with a locked back taps call from that result and never reaches your website. GullySales sets the profile, the home-visit service area and the review flow behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For physiotherapy clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A course is chosen by the journey, not by the website”

Treatment runs over weeks and every session is a trip across traffic. A patient picks the clinic on the route between office and home, which is why the localities worth a page are not always the ones nearest your board.

  • “The hours on your listing decide who can finish the course”

A software engineer with neck pain needs a 7.30am or a post-8pm slot. If the listing says ten to six, that patient never calls, even on the days your therapist is in early.

  • “Home visits need a service area, not a pin”

Geriatric and post-stroke visits are booked by an adult child searching from their parent's flat in another part of the city. A listing tied only to your clinic address will not show up in that search.

What we do

What we deliver for physiotherapy clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A profile that names the conditions, not just the trade

The services on your Business Profile written as patients search them, from frozen shoulder to post knee-replacement rehab, instead of the single word physiotherapy.

Result: A search for the condition finds you, not only a search for a physio.

  2. Hours that show the early and late slots

Opening hours corrected per day, including the therapist who takes a 7am appointment, the Sunday half-day and the festival closures.

Result: A working patient sees a slot they can actually keep.

  3. A service area for the home-visit rounds

The parts of the city your therapist will travel to for home care, set on the listing and named on the page that covers home physiotherapy.

Result: A daughter searching from a parent's flat finds you.

  4. The pin, the entrance photograph and the floor

The map pin moved to the right gate and photographs of the board, the lift and the treatment room added, since your patient is walking with a stick or a brace.

Result: A patient on crutches reaches the door without ringing to ask.

  5. Directory entries corrected where they disagree

Your name, number and address on Practo, Justdial and the health directories checked against the profile, with the old number from the previous premises taken down.

Result: Search engines stop seeing three versions of one clinic.

  6. A review ask at the last session, with the condition named

A short request made when the patient finishes, encouraging them to write what they came in with and which area they travel from, since recent reviews carry weight in the map result.

Result: New reviews say frozen shoulder and name your locality.

  7. Map position measured from the localities you serve

Where the clinic sits in the map result for physiotherapy in each surrounding locality, checked from points across the catchment against the position recorded before work started.

Result: You can see the areas where you are invisible.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How a patient in pain finds a physiotherapy clinic nearby, and what to fix first.

Primary category
Choose Physiotherapist as the main category. Add a secondary only for work you really do, such as sports injury clinic or home visit service. A wrong primary category sends the wrong patients and loses the right ones.
Conditions as services
List the conditions in words a patient uses: back pain, frozen shoulder, knee replacement rehab, stroke recovery, posture. Describe what you assess and treat, and do not promise any result or recovery.
Home-visit service area
If you visit homes, add the localities you cover and say so in the description. A pin tells a patient only about the clinic, and a family looking for home care will scroll past it.
Practo and Justdial entries
Check the clinic name, therapist's title, timings and floor on each directory against the Google profile. A closed branch or an old timing on one directory is what patients ring about.
Replies to patient reviews
Reply without naming the condition or confirming the person was a patient. Thank them for the feedback and invite them to call the clinic. Advertising and privacy rules differ by council, so check yours.

Who it is for

This is written for these physiotherapy clinics.

  • Sports injury and orthopaedic rehab clinics
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation centres
  • Neuro-rehabilitation clinics
  • Prenatal and postnatal physiotherapy practices
  • Geriatric and home-visit physiotherapy services
  • Paediatric physiotherapy clinics
  • Chronic pain management clinics
  • Corporate ergonomics and workplace physiotherapy consultants

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The listing's address, hours or phone differ across other sites, and those must be matched first.
  • The clinic cannot state a service area for home visits, so the map would draw requests from places it cannot reach.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Patients keep saying they could not find the clinic. Is that a listing problem?
Usually it is the pin and the photographs. A clinic on the second floor of a building with three boards needs the pin on the right gate and a photograph of the entrance. Someone in pain will not walk around a block looking for you.
How is this different from the condition pages you build for search?
The condition pages win the patient who searches for slipped disc treatment and reads before deciding. Local SEO wins the one who searches physiotherapy near me, glances at three listings and taps call. Different searches, different work, both needed.
Can we show treatment photographs on the profile?
Photograph the entrance, reception, the exercise area and the equipment, not patients. Advertising rules for health professions differ by state and body and change, so ask your own council or association before you post any treatment image or testimonial.
We use a partner clinic on two days. Can that address go on our listing?
Be careful. A listing should show a place where you are present during the hours shown. If you are there only on fixed days, list your main clinic and name the other in the description. Check the platform's current rules on shared premises.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
