Home cleaning companies · Buyer persona

Write for the move-in customer and the monthly subscriber differently.

A buyer persona for a home cleaning company separates a one-time deep-clean customer from a recurring subscriber, since they search and value the service differently. GullySales builds these from your own booking history, not assumptions, so your pricing and messages speak to each buyer correctly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For home cleaning companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The move-in customer needs speed above all”

This buyer books whoever quotes and confirms fastest, since the date rarely moves.

  • “The subscriber values consistency over price”

This buyer stays for the same reliable team each visit and rarely switches over a small price gap.

  • “Corporate clients decide on contracts, not posts”

An office or society buyer wants a proposal and a contract, not a social media impression.

What we do

What we deliver for home cleaning companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Personas for the move-in, subscriber and corporate buyer

Three short persona documents describing what each type of customer, one-time, recurring and corporate, actually asks and values first.

Result: Quotes and messages answer what that specific customer cares about.

  2. A fast-quote script for the move-in persona

Ready wording for a quick, complete quote aimed at a customer booking against a fixed move-in date.

Result: The customer who needs speed gets it without a slow back-and-forth.

  3. A consistency pitch for the recurring subscriber

Messaging built around the same reliable team each visit, aimed at the customer who values consistency over the lowest price.

Result: A subscriber has a reason to stay beyond a small price difference.

  4. A proposal format for corporate and society clients

A written proposal template covering scope, staffing and contract terms for an office or society buyer who decides on a document, not a post.

Result: A corporate buyer gets the formal proposal their decision requires.

  5. A persona refresh from booking history

A periodic check of your booking history to confirm the personas still match who is actually enquiring and booking.

Result: Messaging keeps speaking to the customers actually coming through.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

A persona card for this customer

Here is a typical card for the landlord clearing a flat before the next tenant.

An example, not a fact about your customers. Check each line against your booking records and reviews, and rewrite what does not fit.

Who they are
Typical: a landlord or property agent with a flat to hand over before the next tenant arrives. Check against bookings where the contact differs from the person living at the address.
What starts the search
Typical: a tenant vacating, a key handover date or a society inspection. Ask for the handover date on the first call.
What worries them
Typical: stains left behind, a worker who does not turn up and fittings that go missing. Read your reviews and complaint calls for these.
What they compare you with
Typical: a maid who works in the building, an app-based cleaning service and a neighbour's cleaner. Ask which one the owner used last time.
Who else decides
Typical: the outgoing family who will be present at the visit, and an owner abroad who approves by message. Send the quote to both.
What makes them say yes
Typical: a written scope by room, photographs sent when the job closes and a named supervisor. Ask which landlords rebooked for the next vacancy.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need personas for one small area?
Yes, even a small area usually has both one-time and recurring buyers needing different messaging.
How does this change our marketing?
It decides which content and offers to use for each buyer, rather than one message for everyone.
How do we check a persona when every customer is new?
Look at the booking form and the quote calls. Group them by reason: a move, a festival, a handover or regular upkeep. Note who made the call and who paid. A group that keeps appearing is a persona. Add one question at the end of a job, and leave the rest alone.
Should the cleaners see the card as well as the office?
Yes, in a short form. Cleaners need to know what the customer cares about, such as fittings left untouched or shoes kept at the door, and what to say if a job cannot be finished. Keep it to a few lines and let the supervisor explain it at the morning briefing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
