Home and office automation · CRM

Hold the site, the stage, the designer who sent it and the panel you installed.

A CRM for an automation integrator is half a sales record and half an as-built list: the site and its construction stage, the architect who specified you, the rooms quoted, the hardware installed and the date its contract falls due. GullySales agrees the fields and gets the team filling them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For home and office automation

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The record is also the as-built list”

Three years on, somebody rings about a dimmer that has stopped. If nothing says which panel, which make and which firmware went into that villa, an engineer drives across the city to find out what he is looking at.

  • “The referring architect belongs in a field, not in somebody's memory”

Unless the enquiry carries the designer's name, you cannot tell which of them actually sends work and which one you have been taking to lunch for two years. That is the single most useful thing this record holds.

  • “Stage beats status on a project that waits for a building”

Hot and warm mean nothing here. Record where the site has reached, from concept drawing to first fix to handover, and anyone can tell what the next action is without ringing the client to ask.

What we do

What we deliver for home and office automation.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The fields agreed with your team, and no more

Site address, construction stage, referring designer or builder, rooms quoted, decision-makers and the next action with its date.

Result: The sales person can fill it in between two site visits.

  2. An installed-base register linked to the enquiry

Make, model, panel location, point count and commissioning date recorded against the address once the job is done.

Result: A service call starts with the file open, not with a phone call to the client.

  3. Contract and warranty dates carried in the same record

Warranty expiry and maintenance renewal dates stored against the site, visible to whoever is looking at the account.

Result: A renewal comes up on a list before it comes up as a complaint.

  4. Source recorded as a named person

The architect, interior designer, builder or electrical contractor written in by name, rather than a source field that just says referral.

Result: You can rank your design contacts by the work they send.

  5. A standing review of stalled sites

A short run through the projects whose stage has not moved, done with the sales and technical people together.

Result: A quiet project gets noticed while it can still be saved.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to record, and when

What an automation integrator should record about every site, and whether it needs software yet.

Site and construction stage
Write the address, and whether the site is at drawing, shell, electrical first fix, finishing or handed over. Conduits and cabling must go in at the right stage, so a late enquiry on a finished wall costs the client more.
Architect, designer or builder who specified you
Record the named person. The record then shows which architects bring work, and a call to them after a handover is as important as a call to the homeowner.
Rooms and systems quoted
List what was quoted room by room: lighting scenes, curtain motors, AV, door locks, CCTV. Note which were dropped. A dropped item is a sensible thing to return to, once the client is living in the house.
Hardware installed and where
After the job, record the brand, model and room of each installed unit, with the date. When the client calls for a fault years later, you can see what is in the wall without a site visit.
Warranty and service contract dates
Write when the warranty ends and when any service contract falls due. A date in a field produces a call to a client who is still happy with you.
Do you need software yet?
A sheet is enough while the owner personally follows every site. Use a CRM once several sales people and site engineers share sites. Keep installed hardware list in the same record as the enquiry, and not only in accounts.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the CRM work runs

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our accounting software already holds the customer list. Is that enough?
It holds whoever paid you, which is the end of the story rather than the middle. It does not carry the site's construction stage, the designer who sent the enquiry or the panel you installed. Those three are what an integrator's record exists for.
What must a sales person enter after a showroom visit?
Who came, which site it is for, where that site has reached in construction, who suggested automation, the rooms discussed and the next action with a date. Six fields. Ask for more and the form stops being filled in at all.
Architects send plans by email and WhatsApp. Where should they live?
In a project folder named by site, with the folder link written in the enquiry record. The record points to the plans and does not hold them. A second engineer can then find the latest drawing, and old versions do not circulate.
A site is waiting on the builder's possession date. How do we record it?
Give it a stage such as 'waiting for possession', add the date the builder gave and who gave it, and list those sites for review. A stalled site is not lost, and a record that shows its stage will not be mistaken for a dead one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
