Home renovation companies · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a neighbour's recommendation sends an owner to check you.

Local SEO for a renovation company is the work on your Maps listing and local pages that decides whether an owner in a nearby locality finds you, believes the reviews and calls. GullySales works on the listing, the service areas and the review flow behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For home renovation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The Maps listing is the reference check after a recommendation”

A name passed along a society WhatsApp group ends in a search for the company. If the listing shows no photographs of finished flats and no reviews, the recommendation dies there, however good the work was.

  • “A review that names the flat outweighs a bare star rating”

A review saying work was done well tells an owner little. One that mentions a two-bedroom resale flat in Jayanagar, the bathrooms and the engineer's visits answers the real doubt: whether you do jobs like theirs.

  • “The service area must match where the engineer can actually be”

Listing the whole city draws enquiries from localities a site engineer cannot visit daily. Daily presence keeps a renovation on track, so the service area should follow the travel the team can bear.

  • “An office with no walk-ins still needs an honest address”

A company that works from a store room or a home office gains nothing by hiding the address or listing a showroom it does not have. Both break the platform's rules and unsettle careful owners. State what the address is.

What we do

What we deliver for home renovation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing set up for the work you do

Business type, services, hours and description entered to match whole-flat, bathroom and kitchen renovation.

Result: The listing says what you do in the words owners search.

  2. A set of finished-flat photographs

Photographs of completed rooms and work-in-progress stages, taken with the owner's permission and named by room.

Result: A visitor to the listing sees real flats, not stock images.

  3. Service areas by locality

Areas entered to follow the travel your site team can manage, not a circle drawn to look large.

Result: Enquiries come from places you can actually serve.

  4. A review ask at handover

A request made on the day the owner signs off the snag list, with the link ready and a nudge to mention flat type and locality. Check the platform's current rules on asking.

Result: New reviews describe the job, not only the mood.

  5. Public replies to complaints about delay

A level reply to each review that raises delay or extras, saying what happened on that job and what changed.

Result: A careful reader sees the complaint answered in public.

  6. Listing activity read against enquiries

Calls, direction requests and website taps from the listing, set beside the enquiries logged with the same source.

Result: You can see whether the listing brought owners through to a site visit.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these home renovation companies.

  • Whole-flat renovation contractors for resale and older homes
  • Bathroom and kitchen renovation specialists
  • Turnkey civil, electrical and plumbing renovation firms
  • Villa and independent-house renovation companies
  • Companies working for NRI owners through remote updates

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we list ourselves in localities where we have no office?
Check the platform's current rules on service areas and addresses. Set the areas you serve from a verified address, and build locality pages that show real jobs there. Do not create listings for offices you do not have.
A client posted a bad review about a delay. What do we do?
Reply in public, say plainly what happened on that job and what changed, and keep the tone level. A careful owner reads the reply more closely than the complaint. Do not offer anything in exchange for having the review removed.
Should we ask every client for a review?
Ask every client at handover in the same way, since the satisfied owner will not always volunteer. Do not offer discounts or gifts in return, and check the platform's current rules on asking before you start.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
