Plumbing contractors · Lead generation

The second call goes to the next name on JustDial.

Lead generation for a plumbing contractor is speed on the leak call and discipline on the estimate. GullySales sets the callback and WhatsApp routine, the questions that reveal who can actually approve the work, and the dates that get an estimate chased.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of plumbing contractors at work in India

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For plumbing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Water is already on the floor when the phone rings”

The caller has a downstairs neighbour on the landing. Whoever answers in the next ten minutes gets the job.

  • “A tenant cannot approve a repair”

Many flat calls come from somebody who rents, and nobody asks whose flat it is until the estimate is ready to send.

  • “A bathroom estimate sent in a chat is gone by evening”

Three hundred messages later the customer cannot find your number, never mind the figure you quoted.

What we do

What we deliver for plumbing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A missed-call and WhatsApp reply routine

An automatic message asking for a photograph, the floor and the locality, with a callback rule for whoever is free to ring.

Result: A leak call gets an answer from a moving van.

  2. Four questions before a visit is promised

Owner or tenant, flat or independent house, who is paying, and whether the association is involved, asked on the first call.

Result: The man who travels can settle the job.

  3. An estimate format that survives a chat window

A numbered document with scope, materials, exclusions and validity, sent as a file rather than typed into a message.

Result: The customer can still find your quote on Friday.

  4. Two follow-up dates on every estimate

Both dates entered the moment the estimate goes out, with answers ready for the usual questions about rate and warranty.

Result: Estimates stop dying in silence.

  5. A separate path for builder and consultant enquiries

Project enquiries routed to whoever handles BOQs, with the project record and the test process attached to the reply.

Result: A tower enquiry stops being treated as a leak.

  6. One enquiry register with the source on each line

Calls, WhatsApp messages, portal leads, referrals and site enquiries in one book, with the date and how each ended.

Result: You find out where the paying work comes from.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

A plumbing contractor's work comes by call, photo and builder, and each needs one detail written before a visit.

Leak call
Record the address, where the water shows, whether the main tap is off and whether the wall is shared. Give the plumber's name and an arrival slot before the call ends.
Missed call while on a job
Call back from the same number, and note the time and what was needed. Missed calls are customers who rang the next plumber, so check the log at every break.
Photo or video of a fault
Ask for a wider view of the bathroom and a clear shot of the wet area. Reply with what the photo shows and what needs opening up, and record the media against the enquiry.
Builder or MEP consultant
Log the project, the tower, the drawing stage and who approves the plumbing contractor. Ask for the BOQ and the fixture schedule before pricing.
Interior designer's bathroom job
Record the designer, the flat and the date the tiles are due. Agree who protects the finished tiles, so a plumbing visit is not blamed for damage.
Apartment association
Note the committee, the maintenance scope and the date quotations close. Ask for the incident history of the tanks and pumps, and what the present contractor does not cover.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Customers ask for a rate on the phone. What do we say?
Give a visit charge and a band for the common jobs, and say what moves it. A single figure on the phone becomes an argument at site. A band with a visit charge keeps the conversation alive.
How do we follow up without annoying people?
Twice, on dates you named when the estimate went out. Ask what they compared it against rather than whether they have decided. Most quiet ones lost on a warranty question nobody answered.
A customer sends a video of a leak. Can we price it from that?
Use it to judge what to bring, not to fix a price. A video shows the wet patch, not the pipe. Log it, book a visit, and give a charge for the visit. Quote the repair after the cause has been found.
Should we log enquiries we pass to another plumber?
Yes, with the name of the plumber and the reason. Note whether the other plumber took it. Passing on work you cannot do is part of your reputation, and the record shows how many calls fall outside what you do.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
