Plumbing contractors · Digital marketing

Two businesses run out of one phone, and one budget.

Digital marketing for a plumbing contractor has to serve a repair van and a project contractor, which behave nothing alike. GullySales splits the plan and the money between them, moves spend with the rain, and reports calls, estimates and contracts together.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For plumbing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Tower work and repair work cannot share a page or a budget”

One is bought in ten minutes by a frightened owner. The other is decided in a consultant's drawing weeks before a pipe is opened.

  • “The spend moves with the weather”

Seepage from the first heavy rain, tanks and pumps in the dry months, bathrooms before a festival. A flat monthly budget misses all three.

  • “Every repair visit is a bathroom you never quoted for”

Your man stands in an eighteen-year-old bathroom for an hour and leaves without anybody sending a renovation estimate.

What we do

What we deliver for plumbing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan that splits repair work from project work

Two audiences, two sets of pages and two budgets, run by the same team but with different promises and response times.

Result: Neither side is starved by the other.

  2. A month-by-month budget against the season

Spend planned around the monsoon, the dry months and the renovation weeks before festivals, instead of one flat figure.

Result: Money is there when the calls are.

  3. A renovation offer sent after every repair visit

A short message with photographs and a band, sent within two days of any repair in a bathroom over ten years old.

Result: Repair customers start asking about the whole bathroom.

  4. Builder, consultant and designer outreach on a schedule

Named contacts, a reason to call at each stage of a project, and a fixed number of visits every month.

Result: The project route stops depending on luck.

  5. Listings, reviews and the profile kept together

JustDial, Maps and Sulekha maintained as one set, with service areas and hours matching what the team can really do.

Result: One story everywhere a customer checks.

  6. One report across both businesses

Calls, site visits, estimates sent and won, project enquiries and maintenance renewals, against the baseline.

Result: You can see which side is actually growing.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for a contractor

Start by separating the person with a leaking tap from the builder with a tower to plumb.

Repair line and profile
Set up the Business Profile for homeowners with your localities, hours and a number that is picked up. Log each call by problem, such as leak, blockage or motor, and whether the visit was paid.
Completed tower list
List every tower, villa project or hospital you have plumbed, with the builder, consultant, year and scope. Add photographs of the pipework with the owner's permission. Use it in every builder call.
Builders and MEP consultants
List the builders, MEP consultants and architects in your area with the projects coming up. Send the completed tower list and a note on your crew size, and record each reply.
Visit notes for renovation
After each repair visit, write one line on the bathroom's condition and whether the owner mentioned renovating. Call the ones who did, with an inspection offer, not a price.
Listings and reviews together
Keep the same name, address and number on Google and JustDial. Ask customers for an honest review after the job and reply to each, including complaints. Note which listing the caller names.
What to leave until later
Leave out social media posts, a blog on pipes and paid ads for tower projects. Tower work comes through relationships. Start with the repair line, the project list and the builder calls.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which comes first, JustDial or Google?
The Google profile, because you keep the customer. JustDial brings volume on its own terms and often sells the same enquiry to others. Run the listing, then move repeat customers onto your own WhatsApp number.
We are five people. What can we actually run?
One locality on Maps, a callback routine that works, and one builder relationship worked properly. That is a real quarter of work. Any more and the estimates stop going out on time.
Can the office coordinator handle all this, or do I need an outside team?
The coordinator can keep the call log, the visit notes and the project list. Outside help suits the profile, photographs and the builder sheet. The builder calls should come from you or your senior engineer, as the buyer wants someone who can discuss the BOQ.
How do I know which of my two businesses the marketing is helping?
Keep two lists from the start: repair jobs and project work, each with the source. Compare the value of work and the number of repeat customers in each. A repair call can be cheap to win but small, while a builder is slow and large.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
